I ask a guy sitting at a bar if he was married and he said no, I asked him if he wanted to be and he said "can we go out first" and I said, "if you must". We were married 8 months later. You just don't know what will turn a guy on.

It's all about the good vibes. If you're a happy person you will naturally attract a happy mate. Guys compliment me on my positive energy -- "it's refreshing" and my smile is "infectious," as per them. Also allowing them to be in their masculine while I remain in and celebrate my feminine energy. And being fully present and making a man feel they have my attention and making them feel uplifted and special whenever they're in my presence.

Ryan, I knew I captured a guys attention. When we had been texting for a little bit and I asked him to call me on the phone. He was avoiding it for a while and I told him that it couldn’t go any further with us if he wasn’t willing to at least call me. So he asked me if I wanted him to call me. I told him I was going to give him a typical girl answer. I said I want you to want to call me, I don’t want you to call me because you think I’m forcing you. He laughed and then my phone was ringing 30 seconds later. After an hour of conversation. I said to him hey I really appreciate you calling me I know you’re not a A phone guy so I’m just going to say thank you so much I enjoyed the conversation and let you hang up and relax for the rest of the evening. He pause for a moment and said no we can talk a little bit longer. That’s when I knew I had them. Or at least I think I did.

"Slow your roll" has got to be the best advice ever! I recently met a guy I really like, who is also really into me. This has happened to me before in life, but I'm romantic and passionate and have a tendancy to rush things and overshare. This time I've followed your advice of leaning back - not seeing him more than once a week for the first six weeks and no sex for 30 days. Things are unfolding as I've always wanted. He's initiating dates, he's escalating contact and we're slowly building an intense, organic intimacy. Thanks for the insight, this could be a game-changer.

I met a guy at an outdoor Christmas market I was working at last year. Whenever people walked by my booth, I'd smile and say hello. I caught his attention as he walked by, we made small talk, and exchanged names & phone numbers. My boss (gay man) tried to pressure me into texting him right after he left. I stood my ground. I DO NOT chase men. Besides, he said he would call. It was a test to see if he'd follow through. Sure enough, he did call me... 2 days later! Due to his profession (commercial airline pilot), we set up a date a week later. We've been going strong ever since! Know your worth, ladies! Don't put up with crap! The men will smell it, and behave accordingly. See my next comment on how to weed out men with the wrong intentions!

At one point he commented that I had HIM giggling like a girl! It was so cute. For the first time with a new guy, I felt powerful and confident in myself and it showed. He texted me after and told me he had a surprisingly good time (lol) and that he wasn’t scared that he felt he clicked with me pretty early. He also said he’d like to have me over again, cook dinner and talk shit while laughing, soon. Winning!!

Such great advice again Ryan, thank you! I'm personally SUPER guilty of operating by the "scarcity paradigm" you mention, so I need to work on that. One time where I know I captured a guy's attention and turned him on was when he was making a semi-long speech to a group of us about a semi-obscure area of expertise of his (Revolutionary War history type stuff) and I flipped a comment he'd just made into a relevant joke, sort of showing that I was knowledgeable about it as well but didn't take it super seriously. I basically told him, hey this is the first and last long text I am going to send you. In a nutshell, I told him I know my self-worth and have no time to waste with games. I told him I like him and respect him and expect the same in return. Then I said NOT to reply if he doesn't see a future with me. This way I can move on. Comment 500: When I watch videos like this -- long lists of all the subtle, precise, magical ways we're supposed to be and act -- I feel very discouraged. I know lists get clicks, and I realize the hyper specific instructions are meant to make these suggestions concrete and actionable. I can also easily see how all of these traits and behaviors would be very appealing. I just don't see myself in any of it, and that makes me sad. Just hearing phrases like "be outspoken but in a subtle way" baffles me, and I can feel my stomach tighten and my soul start to wrap itself into a pretzel as I imagine myself trying to evoke any one of these styles (let alone all 10!). I know that none of these women are me, and I know I could never pull off a single one of these attitudes for more than an hour or two regardless of how much I might want to. I had a good cry after watching this video. I think the sheer magnitude of it is what really did me in. It might as well be called "All the Many Things You Lack That Keep You From Being Loved'. If this is what it takes to be cherished forever by a man, that explains why I've never been proposed to, and at 48 (almost 49) , still find myself alone. I guess I'm going to have to start buying chocolate in bulk, get a dog, and call it a good life as it is.

So like, this wasn't a turn on, but this was something that caught me off guard.. I was sitting at a table with two different guys and like, we were all laughing about a joke he made. His body was already angled towards me and his legs were wide open, taking up half of the table space beside me. So, without missing a beat after our laughter, he asks this, "Leigh, do you hate me?" It caught both me and the guy across from him at that table off guard. I told him, "I mean, no, I don't hate you.." and I kinda just trailed off there. He leaned way back in his chair and clutched his heart and kind of gaped for like, three minutes, meanwhile, the guy in front of him and I conversed until he finally snapped back to reality. By the way, this is the same guy that I talked about in my last comment on one of your other videos (Does He Like Me, Or Is He Just Being Nice).. Leigh~

*I do all these things, basically on accident. I'm a people person and an extrovert, but now I noticed why guys ask me out after a day of knowing me. I'm hella busy, compliment guys on random things a lot, encourage them ...I think I need to be more rude shoot. But I encourage everyone!*.

I’m a bicycle mechanic and I ride really cool bikes. He did a double take over my bike and said “what a pretty bike!” Then he looked up at my smile and said “wow and you’re pretty” which I don’t think he meant to say outloud lol

I'm sarcastic sometimes, but he will only figure out after knowing me better, but it still depends on guys. I actually feel since different guy has different personality, the dynamic with him would be different. The pace in a relationship is also depending on individuals, but I think no matter what, just act after we get ready and comfortable. I honestly would like follow my thoughts at the early stage to reduce the anxiety or something unsettled.

one time I was outside of school and I started singing the Russian song Katyusha that I had learned the night before to show my friends and he then came to me and told me I had a very good Russian pronunciation and that he was Russian. we went out after that and now we've been together for 9 months loool

I didn’t realize how big eye contact was but I realize it’s the same with women. And after watching a number of videos, and even random interviews, guys say eye contact! That’s hard when I’m not trying to come off too desperate when I like a guy!

Eh. If he’s made it very clear in the first few weeks that he genuinely likes me and wants me to text him, I’ll text first sometimes but let him do MOST of the text initiation, ALL of the phone or FaceTime initiation, ALL of the in person date invitations. I’ve had soooo many complaints about never texting first. And most of the text I send are “light and breezy” and short. Send them and then put my phone away and go back to my life. 😂

Guys were tossing these grapes into the air and catching them, so I locked eyes with the guy I liked, threw my grape and caught it in my teeth, all while maintaining eye contact. It was the unabashed flirty eyes that really took it over the edge.

I was dating this guy but had him wondering I was like we aren’t dating or messing with him but then saying oh don’t say that to my boyfriend or to him
@rachels59184 жыл бұрын
3:50 ummm yes. Every time I tell a guy I dont have time for him (or anyone) or don’t want a boyfriend at the moment, they suddenly can’t stop asking me out. Even guys that aren’t interested in dating me, will try to set me up with their friends.

It's a funny little mental trigger, isn't it? 😁
@TheFlash-gp4bg4 жыл бұрын
@@datingcoachryanpatrick is this exactly healthy, though? This is how some men with warped ideas take a woman's "no" for "yes". Yes, be coy, be mysterious. But don't be confusing. Say 'you don't want to date' because you don't want to date. Pretty simple and honest.

Ryan, i really liked this video!!! Very clever made. One question: Could you maybeeeeee do a video about, how to get someone to leave you alone in a nice but working way. I am really bad at that. Either I am still to nice, that they don’t get the hint, or I become over protecting and try to scare them away.
@datingcoachryanpatrick4 жыл бұрын
Hey Melina! Thanks for the suggestion! I'm not sure I'd create a video on this topic because it would probably be such a short video (less than 30 seconds) as I would simply advise the direct approach if someone isn't getting the hint to back the heck off. At some point, nice has to go out the window, especially if you feel the interactions are heading down a dark road. Be firm, be clear, and be consistent 👌🏽

Just say, ' how do I tell you to leave me alone in the nicest way, hmmm? How do you prefer to hear it? while looking innocent the whole time 🤣. Should work like magic...

one time I was about to box one of my friends, like a full out match. A dude started flirting with me and helping me get my gloves on. 10/10 recommend boxing to get a guy to notice you.
