One of Dimash's most beautiful original songs and he has many gorgeous songs. This was a premiere of Ave Maria an original composition by Igor Krutoy the pianist here. Three new songs were premiered at the New Wave competition for young pop singers where Dimash was invited to be one of the judges. Dimash presented Stranger, Fly Away and Ave Maria in that order over the week. You should watch the other two performances which are also brilliant and different as night and day. Dimash will be 29 years old on May 24th I believe this is in 2021 so you would have been 27 This is Ave Maria but this arrangement was done specifically for Dimash by Igor Krutoy, who is the gentleman on the piano who is also a famous and renowned Russian composer songwriter and arranger who came out of retirement specifically to work with Dimash and they have been a force of nature for a number of years now. Not for something completely different I think you should react to his song Stranger. Also written for him to perform at this same event.

If I'm not mistaken, this “Ave Maria” by composer and conductor Igor Krutoy is a work in vocalize format, completely unpublished, although it seems to be a variation of the initial theme (not the introduction but the singing part) of the melody by Schubert adapted to Dimash's voice in order to explore just as three initial notes and changing the fourth note to a higher note (From B4, A4 D#4 C#4 and B4 to G#4, G4, G4, D#5): Like a leap from "dark to light" which is the same contrast as Dimash's outfit (from dark to light)! It also seems to refer to the Russian V. Vavilov's version of "Ave Maria" (wrongly credited to Caccine) and work by JS Bach - Prelude No. 1 in C major, BWV 846, with arrangements by Gounod, which Maetro Igor Krutoy has a predilection for!

“Ave Maria”is a variation adapted to Dimash's voice in order to explore only the three opening notes and changing the fourth note to a higher note. At the end, the advanced vocal technique:“Messa Di Voce “ (from Italian Bel Canto technique) at the last note sustained 15 seconds on the note C6 . Swell, increase and decrease the volume but don’t change the pitch, it is extremely difficult and only pro vocalists with years of training can do it. Singing on whistle and super head voice with SOFT SOUND IS SO HARD TO DO, harder than loud whistle note!
