Great suggestions! Also, fold the rope in your hand, don't loop it around your hand. If it's looped and he takes off ...., you're leavin' with him.

I enjoy all of the knowledge you are passing on to your followers. Is it a possibility to move your camera source closer or wear a microphone to enhance the volume of your videos? Very hard to hear and watch at the same time....I am not hearing impaired.
