something that never made sense to me was that crimson typhoon had 3 arms and not 4, i mean each pilot of a standard jaeger can control 2 limbs why not make the 3rd brother control 2 instead of not doing much and getting the easy job

It already has a core for one arm and one more for the two arms and finally a third core to power it up making another arm means making another core at least from what I think and that's pricey as heck no wonder they only made one for each country near the pacific oceon

Each pilot basically controls 1 arm and we know this because in the first fight against knifehead when knifehead head ripped off gypsy's left arm which was the side Raleigh controlled we saw him hold his left arm in pain while his brother on the right was fine and also after his brother who was on the right side got ripped out of the cockpit we see Raleigh switch the device from his left arm to his right so he would be able to use it effectively because only the right arm remained and 1 more point to add is that when mako first came in Raleigh said that he would rather the right side because his left arm was injured in the fight against knifehead so controlling the right would be easier (im paraphrasing here)
