Sean BULLSHIT, kids don’t act aggressive when they’ve been physically disciplined, they become regressive and avoid confrontation out of fear of being hit again (if it’s at an abusive level). Kids act like THAT when they when they think they’re invincible and there won’t be any consequences to their actions. Physical discipline is a very thin line to walk along but it needs to be walked upon. It’s essential for children to grow up understanding that there are real life consequences to misbehaving and that those consequences will result in some very real pain sometimes, otherwise you risk raising a child that isn’t willing to compromise or sympathize/empathize.

Like the younger the kid is, the more I think it’s necessary for physical discipline. When they get older, just take their shit away like electronics and don’t give it back for a like a few weeks or something. I don’t know any teens over like 13 that still get whoopins anymore. And abuse will just lead to the child being even worse.
