Great video! I just got a used RX100 M2 with a scratched screen like this. Removed the protector and looks perfect underneath! Was VERY strongly attached, so had to pull slowly with a lot of force

Incredibly helpful! I have an RX100 III. Works beautifully, but the screen was messed up, with wrinkles and lines. I didn't know there was a factory screen protector on it! Peeled it off - used a thin guitar pick to get started - and got it off. Replaced it with a tempered glass screen protector. Now? That RX100 III looks brand new. And more importantly, the screen is perfect, which adds up to better shots. Thank you!

Nice to know when a brand works well! I keep small cameras, glasses...in old clean socks to protect them in my bike. Items don't fall out or get unwrapped. Good protection w/o taking the space of a case.

The newer style glass screen protectors go on very nice compared to their old one's.

I bought a screen protector from bello for my phone. More or less I goes on the same as it does on your camera

Please note! The same problem applies to the camera screens Sony RX 1 and Sony Alpha series. The glass screen is covered with plastic, hard coating, which in principle is not to change. To protect this coating from damage users assume various protective plates for example PCK-LM15 Screen Protector. Unfortunately, this first protective layer after a few years of use is degradation and on the screen appears more and more spots. It looks awful and worse the visibility of the image on the screen. Remove all the protective layer and insert the protector with optical glass directly on a glass screen as in the above guide!

If you ever have an issue with any Sony having a white screen turn the front towards you and tap it a few times on the side to your left. That is where the pin tape attaches and can come loose in handling. In most cases your screen will return.
