Hi Ryan, thanks for visiting the D&L Trail! I’m real close to the Slatington trailhead at mile marker 92 and ride on it multiple times a week on the 600x, which I’ve learned you helped design. Glad you enjoyed it and are giving it some exposure - the system is unfortunately quite underrated around here.

The D&R also continues from Trenton up to Easton but on the NJ side of the river. With bridges every few miles, you can do a multitude of loop rides up one side and down the other. At the bridges are lovely small towns with coffee shops etc. Fantastic for those living in the area. [also its much easier going through Trenton on the NJ side of the river and you go past the Battle of Trenton (what Washington did after he crossed the river) memorial.]

Hello, Ryan. I'm new to your channel. I watched the entire series riding Sweden north to south and your attempted at riding the 2024 Tour Divide from the start where I lived for three years, and thanks for the memories. I absolutely love your channel, mainly because of you, Ryan. A very kind and loving man whose outgoing personality attracts the love you receive along your journeys. Anyway, Ryan, you touched on something here and that is trails in America. I would so love to see you do a series of the many, many trails from canal to rails for us who can't do the adventurous trips that you have done. I'm 78 years old and have loved cycling for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately, my health cannot allow me to venture out on long rides, and even many of the trails I can perhaps do a few miles of pedaling. Like I said, if you could do a series on the various trails across our great land, I'm sure so many of your viewers, like me, would be so grateful. Keep pedaling, Ryna. I just love your channel.

Hey there! Ryan is the man isn’t he? If you are able I would look into the carnivore diet. It sounds insane to only eat red meat and animal foods but once I got over the conditioning of if not being good for you so much began to change. I wish you the best.
@kelalamusic9258Ай бұрын
@@thenewwaveus1458 yes, he is the man. Looking forward to watching more of his videos. Regarding health. I was always healthy, especially in my youth, but as I aged things changed, and some of it was my fault which climaxed recently with a massive heart attack. They call it "The Widow Maker." So, for now I have to slowly strengthen the heart. After all, it is a muscle, and like any damaged muscle, it takes time, and I certainly don't want to rush it. As far as diet is concerned, I've learned that it's not a one size fits all. Some do rather well on a vegan diet, and some don't. Some do well on a carnivore diet, and some don't. Right now, I'm trying to work out what works for me, and so far, being balanced is working out. Thank you for your advice, and I'm glad the carnivore diet is working for you. I've tried vegan . . . NAH! I've tried vegetarian like Ryan . . . NAH! If down the road I find what I'm doing doesn't work out, I will give the carnivore diet a go. I'm open minded on things, and I will never know what works unless I try it for myself. Have a good day!
@thenewwaveus1458Ай бұрын
@@kelalamusic9258 I’m sorry to hear about your heart and I hope things get better for you. It’s nice to hear that you are open minded because people will disregard things without looking into it themselves. As far as diet is concerned it should be a one size fits all after all we are the same species. The variety of food humans eat is far too much and if you look at it plainly- 99.9 percent of plant matter is inedible to humans in the wild and all drugs alcohol are made from plants. Humans must grow and cultivate vegetables it’s is not naturally god given. Good luck and keep moving those legs and having fun.
@kelalamusic9258Ай бұрын
@@thenewwaveus1458 I agree, one should be open minded. It should be one size fits all as we are of the same species as you mentioned. I can only go by what others have reported. A good example is a couple who are very close friends. Ira is mostly carnivore and is as healthy as a horse, yet his wife, Gloria, tries eating the same diet and constantly gets stomach issues. So now she is vegan and feels fine. Not being an expert on the subject, I can only go by what others personally say. But the only way I can know for sure is how each diet affects me. So far just being balanced works out better than full vegan or even vegetarian. And I will try the carnivore diet if after a while I feel the need to change. Yes, I will keep moving those legs. I'm certainly not going to allow a little heart attack to stop me, only when the heart decides to stop all together. Take care and keep moving yourself as long as you possibly can.
