Soo um, I just decided to come back to this video because it somehow got 2 million views and 5.3k likes and I just want to say thank you all! I know a lot of youtubers say stuff like this but honestly I appreciate it, as someone that does youtube purely to get content out there it makes me overjoyed that people like my content, especially after a rocky start to my channel and years of uncertainty. This game has had its ups and downs with me, especially in it’s pre-launch periods that in some parts where I kinda realised how toxic people can be when it comes to a upcoming dinosaur game and it didn’t exactly have a smooth launch and early days especially with frontier denying certain things before changing their mind but generally I am impressed with how the game changed. Pachycephalosaurids can now fight back, there’s new dinosaurs added with new animations that I adore, Gigantosaurus is an impressive size (although I still say Suchomimus needs a size buff along with a smaller one for Carcharodontosaurus and Spinosaurus, even if the later is a lot better than at launch), terrain tools, very useful new genes and more customisation in the sandbox options, and this isn’t even mentioning RTJP that rejuvenated my love for dinosaurs like velicoraptor and Ankylosaurus. It’s not perfect and there’s a lot I’d change but because of how it kick started my channel, I greatly appreciated this game’s existence, even if I give it tons of flak for rex bias, unbalanced dinos, weird sizes and out there designs, it’s all out of love. It’s been a rough ride and a long year, I’m still limited to what I can record to a single console but now I feel confident to expand as well as continue with this JWE content as long as possible, let’s just hope the future looks bright for JWE content and you guys enjoy the show. I’m not good with words, but thank you, thank you all x (Except a select few that likely forget my channel exists which I can’t exactly say thank you to but I still hope everything is alright)

I’m with you on that, Besides the fact pachycephalosaurs and sauropods literally can’t attack, the wounds these herbivores can inflict are just as bad if not worse than the carnivores, ankylosaurs can shatter bone, frontal attacks against a ceratopsian like triceratops shouldn’t really work, stegosaurus has 3 foot long spikes and can swing its tail at 90mph It’s always been a theme in this series that the carnivores get more love but regardless they are incredibly weak

With the bite power a Spinosaurid would have, it'd bleed real bad. Spinosaurids are the things that would honestly kill anything. It would be able to defeat an indom, but it'd still die of bleeding. Since it has dna of a Giganotosaurus.

Another thing to keep in mind is spinosaurids use their arms and powerful claws in combat as well, of course they don’t in this game for some reason, and considering they can literally disembowel its prey, they are incredibly strong

They really made the herbivores weak in this game. In reality, a lot more carnivores would have died. They make the Carnivores OP against the herbivores. The carnivores would have a much harder time.

They also made some of the herbivores defenceless and unable to attack and even among the carnivores there’s a lot of unbalancing there I love this game but it has a crud ton of flaws especially with the strength and sizes of some of the dinosaurs. I think the first time I put a triceratops in with a T. rex and it killed it without any effort I died a bit inside lol

Everything was base genome but, honestly idk what was up with this spino. It always seems like you have one Dino which just rips right through to the top whenever I do a battle royal video, I’m not sure if it’s just damage RNG or them just picking weakened prey or what, although it’s usually indoraptor but I’ve had everything from Majungasaurus to Gigantosaurus do the same by now. That’s the best thing about battle videos, idk what’s gonna happen, whereas you do 1v1 battles you usually get a 9/10 win rate without much variation

Actually I didn’t modify Spinosaurus strangely enough, although I really can’t explain what happened here, probably some weird RNG mechanic that happens from time to time just going haywire (I’ve seen unmodified majungasaurus kill a rex, a single triceratops kill 2 metriacantosaurus, a Suchomimus take down an indoraptor etc, if you’ve made as many JWE battles as I have you start seeing some weird thing happen. I feel like it happens less now than at launch but I definitely can say it still does happen on occasion) I have done a few other battle royale videos since this one, with the newer dinosaurs and sometimes different rules and Spinosaurus doesn’t seem to win that much (3 wins if I remember correctly, 2 of which we’re pretty early on) so this is one of the exceptions. I don’t purposely stick modified dinosaurs in non modified videos unless specified, I do myself enjoy doing battle royale videos myself, just to see who wins and I’ve had some really unexpected winners doing this and chucking in one randomly OP dinosaur ruins the fun of that and turns it into another “(Modified) Majungasaurus vs T. rex army” type video rather than an anyone can win battle royale. There’s a reason I lost interest in these types of videos when indoraptor had a 3 victories in a row and then made the no hybrids battle royale after people asked for me to bring it back, that’s also why I lost interest in my “(Modified) vs army” videos, it’s just not as fun. I try to make these videos are fair as possible, I only make one of each dinosaur, all base genome unless specified otherwise, this Spinosaurus just seems to be a product of strange luck with RNG or something that isn’t my control, just trust me on that, it’s not something I have any intention of doing If it was modified I’d have said this before

It’s just the way dinosaurs work in this game, it mainly depends on the defense stat and current health as far as I know with the occasional random chance sprinkled in, but generally the stronger dinosaur will hit the weaker one more unless it’s incredibly weak, and because the stats of these dinosaurs are all over the shop results can be weird
