Great video! I need help though. I want to practice flat "on the ground tommahawk/ reverse stick hits. But whenever I do them I lift the ball in the air almost like a reverse shot. Being a fullback I want to keep it on the ground. Please help.

The backstick slap or reverse slap is different to the Tomahawk, it is less powerful and is used more for passes than for shooting.

Hahahah backstick is an fault, it's like a kick or any other basic mistake. They will whistle every time for backstick. Backstick is when you touch/hit the ball with the rounded side of your stick. Hockey for dummies ...
