Ryde Units Green Waste - Packing Out on Overflowing Bins

here we have @AussieGarbo67 doing the unit green waste run, in his famously known SL94, I haven't gotten a chance to get a full video of this truck, so, I'm happy I could. Alex was also happy as I was one of the first ones to get him in the OG truck in the OG run (for greens).

Love seeing green bins put out across the country. Hope many other countries can do the same. I think food matter is taking longer to take on than garden waste, but i think it will. I hope soft plastic cushions in the recycling and ten cent drink returns continue to grow and expand nationally.

Daman, this has to be your most entertaining video yet! Where do I start? The camera work was absolutely perfect, you captured this beast and its amazing operator in full glory, wow! I must start by saying Alex's operating is extremely slick, especially given the older equipment which he manipulates very well, both truck and bin. I don't think I've ever heard of/seen a driver letting the truck roll while leaving it in neutral and revving the shit out of it, that's just amazing. The amount of green waste given it's only summer is crazy and I can see this truck having a great time sorting it out in summer. Once again, I'll acknowledge that your videography has improved with the camera capturing all the elements so much better than a phone and the increased range in zoom which always comes out clearer. I've never appreciated older equipment as much because I never see/hear it but this video has helped change my impression. Very well done Daman!

Another outstanding video from you Daman, i think the new camera was a great purchace. Also loved the packing out in this truck. Finally I can start with some positive feedback. Its high time Alex demonstrated acceptable finesse on the whole lifter operation. However to have only picked up 53 (approximately) bins in 15 minutes, with an empty truck, on a benign mid spring veg run. Instead of at least 70 or more, shows he now must learn the art of timing the packer with the emptying the bin. Irrespective of the stream collected, this is the key to adding a minimum of 20 bins per 15 minute block to what ever your usual rate is. Just to cover all bases because I'm "Mr Negative"🙄💩 One could speculate that Alex has finally managed to blow up the transmission in his new Dennis Eagle, because he insists on revving the ring out of the truck achieving nothing practical or safe.

there was a lot of gaps between the video, maybe an odd 20-30 bins between some segments i didn’t record and it’s spread out throughout a majority of time while i was there, i was filming some line ups and just chilling with the truck for the others

The three common issues with all are: • Incorrect (super safe/retard mode) computer and hydraulic settings, adding effort to an effortless operation. • Negligent computer and hydraulic settings, resulting in stupidly quick and self destructive operation. • Amature "steering wheel attendant" drivers who think going faster and harder is quicker then slower and smoother. Or uncoordinated operation. This is usually attributed to poor training.
