To be clear, saltaway is presented as a product good for engine flushing at end of the year!! These vidoes are exactly why you should not! Shops and sellers in our area push saltaway as the flushing goto..then boom, overheating because no one ever said you Need to use something different to actually prevent build up of salt and other stuff...So why use saltaway inside an engine at??? Don't waste your time, use it for surface cleaning and flush with something that works like Rydlyme,,,why I chose Rydlyme,,,our navy counts on it...no on̈e is in the sea water more than them except the fish.

You are comparing apples to oranges.... Salt Away does not eat the calcium... Try Barnacle Buster.

@Chris-fo8wp Not comparing anything, call up a boat shop, go to them and ask what to flush with...you will be told saltaway as if it's an application that works all year and all you ever need..engines over heating all over the place from not flushing with the correct products..I have asked many boat mechanics what to use with, all say the same, it's fine for cleaning surfaces and rinse offs, but not what there pushing...It's called job security..this Is washington state, maybe other states boat shops are better. NOT THIS ONE, you can't even buy it here, nor the stuff you said. It's sad, used motor buyers should use this to flush until the Ph is same In As coming out, then it's ready to hit water and not overheat...That's why I'm making these videos,,,literally helping people stop getting in a bad situation from profits and greed.

As far as reliability goes why flush an engine at all with saltaway??? It only clean out one thing and leaves the rest...like wiping a turd with a paper towel and thinking it's clean now... it needs to be flushed,,so does the turd. 😮
