It Bites - Once Around the World (The Manor Edit)

I always liked the original tempo of Once Around the World as seen in the Channel 4 Equinox special on the guitar. Using Audacity to increase the tempo and some AI to remove the vocal track, I have created this special mix dubbed 'The Manor Edit'. Enjoy!

Always will be my favourite track of all time,Bob is such a solid drummer.When i went to see them on many occasions i could not take my eyes of his hands..Only other drummer that has impressed me is Jerry Gaskill from Kings X..

Thanks for commenting. The video at The Manor is classic excellent old style television - informative and devoid of daft graphics and music. There’s loads comments on it saying how it’s everything that’s wrong 80s music etc but each to their own - it’s brilliant in its own right. I wonder why they changed the tempo to the album version’s one?

That’s a shame. You can hear a whole lot of incidental instrumentation without the Vox tracks. Was this a multitrack edit or using newer AI digital processing? I think I can hear some crosstalk from the vox tracks in the quieter sections at the beginning. Great job though and much appreciated.

So this "edit" has nothing really to do with it Bites then? It doesn't come from any long lost demos or anything?
