The “half a dozen”/5 children incontenuity is something Scott actually has a past with and the community of theorist struggles continuously to deal with and to this day, can’t seem to realise he does this, but he does this thing where he just..generalizes, or I guess “rounds up” things sometimes. He’s gotten his own lore wrong before. And I think people expect the lore to be air tight and look so far into it that they create their own plot holes and shit falls apart before they even figure anything out.

Five kids is such a big detail in the games, and the comic version of into the pit shows six kids. I guess he could have just been leaning into his mistake, but I think assuming stupidity on Scott’s part doesn’t give him enough credit. And if you’re willing to brush aside such big inconsistencies as mistakes or retcons, there’s practically nothing left to theorize on. Any detail can just be thrown out with a “Scott messed up” instead of working to figure out possible implications.

There’s no way Michael could have predicted that Fredbear’s jaw would be initiated by a small ceiling leak. There’s no way he would have known the outcome of both of those things could occur.

I agree completely with the "not intended for you" line. It seems like a more recent development that people have decided Michael took the place of Henry's intended victim, because way back when everyone seemed to assume it meant "I intended a random person to show up and then leave but wow you're here too I guess. Good luck." Which makes way more sense because of Henry had a specific person in mind, why give them an escape route? Why get a specific person if not to kill them?

I think that the game is near the end of summer as you said, it will play out through five nights which kind of fits with the games theme. And the reason I feel or would be like that is in the book Oswald goes to Jeff’s in the library from the start to the end of the summer, and then near the end of the book school starts back up when he’s in sixth grade and a couple days after school starts up is when he defeats into the pit Bonnie. But since it plays out through five nights, I think the game will play out as Oswald finally deciding to go into the pit after all the summer, and then into the pit Bonnie because his dad for a couple days left in summer then for the couple days that school starts back up and then Oswald defeats him a couple of days after school started

The issue with it being in pixel art, it looks like Baby or DJMM. However...I'm leaning on it actually being Baby because DJ music man was made to be a Glamrock variant of Music Man, right? So if that thought process is correct, he shouldn't be around just yet. Baby tho. Baby has always confused me, as has Balloon Boy. They're Carnival themed...they could totally have been apart of Fall Fest in a very rudimentary way. If it is actually DJMM, I'm just hoping it is an Easter egg bc it messes with the timeline(s).

To have Baby pop up in a poster before the first Fazbear location is planned to shut down doesn't make sense. In fact, a whole lot of this game doesn't make sense because it's likely not supposed to be canon.

What if, like Rye said, this new game is _a_ 10 year anniversary project, and Scott is genuinely to the point that he’s thinking “these people just don’t get it. They still don’t understand the canonicity of the book series. I guess I have to hold their hand and lead them through this.” And we’re going to get small individual installations of the books themselves that interlink into the main line games. Why Into The Pit? Well it’s the first story of the first book in FF. What if he’s going to pick the canon-linked story out of all the books, showing us which stories are canon to the main line game timeline/universe?

I'm not against turning some of the books into games. It's a great way to visualise some of these stories outside of the graphic novels. But I feel like fazbear frights, would work better as a tv series/streaming series. Love these podcasts dude!

I believe that the fact that Phone Guy references the new modern building design, references the old location beforehand that was left to rot, and the aforementioned knowledge about how MCI must have existed as the animatronics before 1987 makes this fairly clear: there was Fredbear’s most likely in the 70’s, there was a Freddy’s opened in 1983 and likely closed due to the MCI in 1985, and Freddy’s as a brand reopened in 1987 before promptly getting shut down again. Around 1993-1995 another Freddy’s is already in existence and gets closed. After the closure of at least one of these locations CBPW opens and closes on the Sam day, creating the CBEAR bunker. I’d say that Afton Robotics opened CBPW after MCI in 1985 because Afton has a motive to kill more, it has Funtime Foxy as a character that can be reused later in 1987, and shows that Elizabeth would have died around the same time as MCI. DCI happens in 1987, but no one gets possessed because the Puppet refuses to cause more suffering by giving life like she did for the MCI. A new Fazbear CEO opens another location, which closes in 1993 and then Afton returns to to collect the remnant from the Animatronics during 1995. Michael then goes to the bunker and finds Baby and the souls of the MCI before being scooped. As a hollow zombie he sets off to find his dad, and does so in 2023 during FNAF 3 at Fazbear’s Frights. Then FNAF 6 happens and resolves pretty much everything except for Agony, which is fireproof.

I think the fact that they don't own the I.P. of FNAF would make it so that a third, separate company could not make a game and get away with it. It could exist as a game "inspired by FNAF" but it cannot have branding specific to the games or books unless they own that right.

I think the story is going to be divided in two sections: inside the pit and outside the pit. I can see Oswald exploring the pit everyday (where the main gameplay happens) then going home where you can safely explore and find story details. But as the story progresses stuff from the pit starts leaking into the real world, like Chica.

A simpler answer about the while Chica thing might be that the Unwithereds were never a thing. The Classics were probably what they looked like at the first Freddy's. Endo-01 and 02 have pretty significant differences, and as such the suits for them are likely not compatible with each other. Due to this, they would need new suits. But since they deemed it better to start from scratch and the redesigns seen as too ugly, they were scrapped. Once the 02 tech was scrapped following the incident with the Toys, the Withereds would be stripped back down to their 01 tech and as such would go back to using their original Classic suits that go with them. The fact that both the Silver Eyes trilogy and Movie continuities as far as we know only had one Freddy's and yet still used the Classics instead of Unwithereds may be a sign that the Unwithereds were nothing more than an assumption we had all collectively come to instead of the truth.

So, with the toes thing, it is heavily implied that the old bots(1985) look nearly identical to the FNAF 1 bots, and that the 1987 bots are retrofitted to have new design features, but the company realized how terribly they were shaping up and instead replaced them with the Toys. The toys get scrapped and the Withered animatronics get restored back to how they were. That’s always made the most sense to me.

My idea for the game is because it reminds me of my pixel rpgs. But here it is: So the game starts following the book until you go into the ball pit. Now you have 5 trips in. You meet each kid before they die. You get to know them they go missing and the game is you trying to solve it. Then on the fifth day bunny swaps with dad and the secret night is then the getting trap out of your house

This is an older video now lol, but while i agree with your interpretation of 'not intended for you', I do always feel the need to point out a few things that dont quite line up. A, about the specific explanation of 'he could have access to the sister location cameras and would think Michael is dead', he also has access to the scooper's blueprints and knows that it injects remnant and shouldve predicted it. Though, im not really sure how much Henry really understood about remnant. And B, a thing which bothers a lot about Michael being the ffps protagonist in general, is the entire insanity ending itself. Why would Michael viewing this audio log somehow ruin everything? What was in it that even Michael couldn't know, that Henry would fire end lobotomize him over?? Is it because like, idk, the animatronics are gonna hear it? William apparently already knows its a trap anyway. It's always bugged me To be clear I still think Michael is the protag and i believe in that explanation for the line, im just wondering if anybody has any thoughts or explanations for this to put my mind at ease

I think the important thing to say when talking about this bit of the lore is moreso the time period, and specifying year may be objectively more correct. However, that can get confusing fast to talk about and is prone to slips etc, which is why "the fnaf 2 era" may make the most sense to use. I hope you see this and find it useful!

I actually was speculating earlier that the game might be an alternate universe story. The description says that both Oswald’s dad and 5 children’s lives are at stake. So I think what’s gonna happen is that Oswald is going to go back in time like in the original story and save the missing children possibly leading to William Afton/Ballpit Bonnie following him to the future and potentially getting up to even more shenanigans.

One thing I realised upon some reflection; Your answer to the last question, it has the same feeling to it as Game Theory about how the Bite of 87 couldn't happen, while there is a commercial going on the TV, showing the date 1983. Alone Together might also contextualize why Springtrap only started moving once he was uncovered by the Fazbear's Fright people - he died alone, in a room that was later boarded up, and was left there for years. William might not have even possessed Springtrap until just before night 2 of FNaF 3, since his body was effectively undiscovered for decades and obviously none of the spirits would help him find it.

Probably not, they are merely windows for us, the player, to better understand the world around us. I do believe that Glitchtrap is a mixture of William’s agony and Mimic1 because of Help Wanted 2, so it’s possible that you’re kinda onto something, but I digress. It is strange that an in universe game has knowledge of Afton’s murders, but it wouldn’t be the first around that time period… if there is a game version of FNAF 6 in universe, then that may be a hint. The Tales imply that there is a game version of UCN that exists in the game’s timeline, as even if it’s not in the game timeline it’s directly giving us information about the most recent Fnaf games.

@@jonstrunonbro1169About your second comment: my favorite theory about why the mini games reveal lore like they do is because they are, essentially, a conversation being had between Henry (who programmed the games) and the MCI children who are creating the glitches to say what happened/what is happening to them. Originally it was just their agony burning a ghost of their experiences into the game (like Fruity Maze), but then when Henry went to “fix” them he discovered that they were trying to communicate and began deliberately creating “games” (like Give Cake) to ask them questions. I feel like Poppy and Freddy are duking it out at this point Chapter 3 of PpPt is Security Breach Ruin basically, we just haven't gotten to the mimic chase yet in Poppy's playtime, still dealing with Gregory, I mean the mimic, the prototype, Ollie, I mean Ollie..... Now the Pit will probably explore some deep seeded facility under the pizzaplex, the simulator office, sister location were all shoved under there, except the daycare, that was already on the surface level, so no PpPt playcare level, guess fnaf valued their kids more to let at least some of them leave with their families at the end of the work shift.
