Cyberhex was released before Masterpiece and Slaughterhouse. They got Lindsay Schoolcraft (the operatic voice) from Cradle of Filth to sing on the choruses. They also recently released both an instrumental only version AND a vocals only version that is totally worth checking out. The guitar work is so intricate and some of it gets lost with everything else. And the layering of the vocals? Incredible. Loved the reaction, guys!

Ink is alright, saw them in concert on the ToT tour. Their lead has a very good voice, but from an outside perspective the songs were difficult to find any groove to and seemed all over the place. Additionally, the instrument work was alright but nothing special.

I’ve seen a couple of the comments suggesting Bad Omens for your next reaction. I am a little biased (as they’re my favourite band) but I totally agree that you should react to them! If you do decide to go down that rabbit hole, it would be cool to see a reaction to a few of their songs - reason being is that their latest album which came out in February has seen a total shift in their sound, compared to their first 2 albums. Noah (vocals) and Jolly (guitarist) also wrote, recorded and engineered the entire album. A few of the songs started off as Noah messing around on Twitch and creating the skeleton of these songs. It was really cool to witness. Also, a lot of the songs include samples from things they found around their house - ie. bouncing a ball on the ground, scratching a lamp, vacuum cleaner sounds… Anyway, it would be cool for you to react to “Artificial Suicide” which is on their new album and showcases their heavier side (which is what we were used to from the first 2 albums, but this is way cooler and more refined) and then something like “Death of Peace of Mind” or “The Grey” - Both of these songs showcase the new direction the band has gone in with this cinematic/dramatic, dark pop sound. As someone else suggested, for good measure, it would be awesome to see you guys react to one of their live performances too… The live recordings that were taped during covid are from their first & second album, which gives you an idea of where they’ve come from to now.
