This is Ren at the day he fell into psychosis. He had an immune reaction to yet another treatment which caused him to collapse in bitterness and excruciating pain on the kitchen floor. It led to 3 months of psychosis when he was 25, already 6 years into illness. Because of the brain damage, he still feels pain always. His brain tells him this. This is the most recent song he wrote for the album. It makes me cry. And the power of the beat and the fierce honesty of the lyrics, take my breath away.

I have heard this song over 70 times now. I STILL bob and weave to the beat every time! "Bones are the home where the devil rests" (Lymes disease attacked his bones). "I watched him tie a rope and jump". He cried, begged, pleaded, and eventually gave up on and curse his god/god's (they were dead to him). He then, bowed to his new god (his disease) and begged for mercy..... His bed was both a "tomb" and a "womb"; that births new problems and ailments...

One bit of wordplay that I don't think I've seen ANYONE touch on, is the final words of the song. "One sin for every one day of the week", could also be seen as "One sin for everyone, day of the weak" could be another stronngg way to take those words. This song is amazing, I LOVE the production switch to the trap beat halfway through. You guys as always knocked this reaction out of the park.

This was the last song he wrote for the album. He wrote it in Canada last year. You can see his development over time with this one. It makes the perfect introduction to the album as a whole. The pain through the lyrics and the music itself represents his pain in such a visceral and heartbreaking way. I love this track ❤

I hate to say this, but I think about this, if Ren never got bit by a tick, if he was never ill or in pain - we would never have his talent, his music, his words, his lyrics his genius. They say for ever thing there is a reason and a season for what happens to us during our lifetime. This was meant to be, as sad as it is for him to have suffered and struggled -living with pain. We should all thank Ren for coming into our lives. Thank you guys for the reaction.♥

There is a third one but it has not been released due to the individual with him was recently signed to a label and it is keeping Ren from being able to release it. They are quite comical, and I really hope they find a way to release the third one. Two other songs would be crutch, and the big push I shot the sheriff cover

One of the main things I love about Ren is how much he links his own songs together. I’ve been listening to him for years now, and the line “Greed plants the seed which will destroy us all if we succumb to greed” is taken straight from one of his older songs ‘Crucify Your Culture’ (absolute banger by the way). Just listening to his songs there are so many references to songs on the album and also from other songs like Jenny & Screech, Love Music 3, Money Game, etc. Phenomenal is the only way to describe him!

as a chronically ill, disabled person who also has major mental health challenges, his music speaks to my life and my struggles.
