The dryers are Ryko slimline. This one has three producers but traditionally hey have 2

That is a Ryko brand dryer. Its a newer model dryer that doesnt have the gate drop down and rises back up with the front of the car. Those dryer units use to be attached to the older Ryko units like the Premier, Voyager, R7B, and Ultra Clean models with the filament brushes, and now they are starting to make a come back with the triple dryer setup.

I think they close the doors to keep the water from the sprayers in Elevator they do that with the Tiger washes as well I reckon.

I repaired those machines. I had one customer that also left to doors down all year. The car wash had a neighbor that had complained to the town about the noise. Not sure if this is the case here or to keep kids out.

This is a ryko dryer. It's the ryko slimline. I'm guessing it's called slimline because it takes less space than a thrust pro. But as you see... It's not a ryko thrust pro(which are the ones with the drop down) but it still provides those ryko quality drying!

I think BP has a preferred relationship with Ryko, as I definitely see a lot of Rykos at BP stations. The same goes with Shell. Exxon/Mobil tended to like touchless car washes. Of course, it's always up to each franchisee.

That is a Ryko Dryer. It is known as the Slimline Series. It's just the blowers with the moving nozzles including the top, and not the Thrust Pro drop down dryer.

I dreamt about a car wash last night but I keep dreaming about them a lot recently. I was at school and there was a massive top brush that was about the same size as my roof in the hall. It thundered across the whole of the roof and made a massive loud noise as well as these side brushes scraping along all the windows.

I remember growing up back when Voyagers and R7B's ruled the car wash industry, BP's normally had 2 tones of green filament, whereas Texaco and Chevron normally had 2 tones of purple filament.

All Shell's around Cen. Ohio have the same tunnel car wash. Where my Grandma lives, There was a sonico gas station that had a brush tunnel which the brushes dont even move them selfs, they just spin in-place on the side, I think its owned by someone else, and sonico had SEVERAL manual bays with 1(2-3?) And one of them i saw a PDQ Laserwash 360, but recently it was bought by shell, They completly made it their gas staion and it doesnt say that it has a car wash, maybe because the manuals and automatics might be owned by the other company. I hope they dont replace the tunnel or the others, or they are offering to take ownership of the Car washes.

The reason the doors stay closed is so the cars have privacy while they bathe! You need privacy when you bathe, right? Well cars need that luxury too! Plus 90 seconds of dryer time is the most I have ever heard of!

Even though this comment was from a year ago im still gonna answer. It depends on how dirty your car is, if its like dusted from dirt/gravel roads touchless should work fine. If its really muddy from rain, snow on dirt/gravel roads the soft touch or brush washes should work fine.
