The kiss is such a cliffhanger. Erik's reaction is so difficult to interpret. Was he caught off guard and just let the kiss happen? Did he return Mathias' kiss? I can't make up my mind.

thank you a mil for translating and uploading this! i think Erik and Mathias will not end up together. Mathias felt bad that evening, first Felix practically ended their friendship, then Sara stated that the relationship between her and Mathias are all done forever, and then there’s Erik, easygoing and nice, and Mathias just might have felt so lonely, abandoned almost, so he kissed him out of this, regretting it immediately. Erik never showed signs of attraction to Mathias, not in a romantic way, he’s just really nice. so in s3 we will probably watch Mathias freaking out because of this or freaking out because somebody MOST CERTAINLY saw them (that’s the tradition in this show haha) and spread the rumours. Erik will be trying to play it cool, but Mathias… who knows? or it will be reversed, and Mathias will be chill about it, like nothing happened (though it seems he is serious about kisses, he asked Erik about the kiss Sara gave him on New Year’s eve, implying if it meant something), and Erik will be the one stressing. but im certain that something changed between them, they crossed the line, and the question is - will it come back to normal? i don’t think so. but if they DO end up together.. God i will be the happiest. waiting till august 19th🤞🤞🤞🤞

I see where ur coming from but i disagree with the attraction on eriks part because he may not be like head over heels but his body language shows it off like in one of the prior episodes i think 11 or 12 when erik matthias and whathername are in the room. the girl gets the call and erik is looking at matthias whike hes looking up and its very suggestive!! Also right before they kiss when erik asks matthias about the boat how his jaw tenses up but when matthias says its probably not happening his whole body seems to untense. Maybe im reading into it but between them body language has seemed to be the biggest tell so i wouldnt doubt it

On NRK website : S3 EP1 synopsis : Mathias returns from the sea and finally gets to see Erik again. But things aren't quite the same as before he left. S3 EP2 synopsis : Felix learns that Mathias has kissed Erik. But no one is going to make a move on one of his boys. S3 EP5 : Erik finally asks Mathias what's wrong between them. But he doesn't get the answer he was hoping for. They are only seven ep on season 3 for the moment and three of them talking about Erik and Matthias, that’s seem not many episode to build a relation. I don’t know if they will release other ep during the next week. No way of knowing if they'll get together in season 3 but I really hope so.

the whole episode was Mathias trying to get back with Sara . Mathias looked past Erik to his right after they kissed. Perhaps he was trying to make Sara jealous if she was still sleeping/waking up in the chair.

I don't think kissing a dude is a good way to make a girl jealous. Mathias and Sara had a toxic on off relationship. Mathias is in conflict with his parents, with Felix and with Sara, in contrast when he's with Erik there is no drama. They get on, they enjoy each other's company. Erik is kind and easygoing. Everything between them was going so well until a line was crossed. I can't wait for next season.

Ideally, Erik & Sara would make a great couple. They connect really well but they already set the boundaries as friends. Then here's Mattias who is a mess, a walking red flag who may have a thing for Erik that exudes mysterious vibe, as mentioned by one of their friends, that got Mattias curious. I wanted to comfort Synnove. I'm indifferent towards Thea.

i watched the series knowing this is how season 2 ended, and so i had a different lens i think that lots of people watching it in premier order; and when you have a sense of the story going this way it makes a lot more sense. Matthias approaches Erik first on the boat in ep1; Matthais imagines Erik shirtless in the jealousy delusion with Sara; Matthias defends Erik to all his friends; Matthias invites Erik to everything; Matthias is replacing his best friend (felix) and his girlfriend (sara) by spending down time with Erik; Matthias crawled into bed with Erik; Matthias apologizes to exactly ONE person on the show with a real "im sorry" and its to Erik regarding the guys jumping him; Erik is more of the mystery to me here.... Watching the show knowing about this kiss - Erik def seems like the gay best friend of Sara and not at all interesting romantically in her or Thea (who also made a move); he also tells Matthias that he and sara will NEVER get together and not to worry - which read to me as "dude im gay its not gonna happen" and he made a little joke about sharing the bed "our coming out" almost to test the waters with Matthias.... so. its SUBTLE and its a slow burn, and its not necessarily the focus of the show but I definitely think its there and that Erik and Matthias will be some kind of Bisexual awakening end game.
