To be fair Frisk never visited the Dunes or Steamworks before, plus the mail system that was around at the time of UTY is no longer in operation by the time of Undertale, so it's very understandable and reasonable that the Dunes monsters don't even know that Frisk is their savior yet simply because word hasn't spread to the Dunes just yet. (Reminder from part 1, this all happens literally just after Frisk breaks the barrier.)

To everyone who worked on this, this is absolutely phenomenal and I nearly bawled my eyes out but I'm eating lunch rn so I'd probably choke if I did. I absolutely adore everything here, the animation, pacing, sprite work, accuracy to the games, the AMAZING writing and characterisation. The humour is really funny too. I forgot to mention the music. gabboXD and Sawsk did an awesome job! The Frisk talking scene using the "Justice" leitmotif and getting more cheerful REALLY brought out some emotion. I loved the pause when Kanako went to hug Frisk, before it went more upbeat. Honestly felt like Clover was speaking for a second there lol. This series, Shayy's and CiblesGD's reviews made me wanna replay UTY. I adored it on my first playthrough but I think it's time to do pacifist again. Now I get why Clover wanted to immediately give up their SOUL, hope is important for people and especially monsterkind, after seeing how despair and lack of hope ruined the Ketsukane family, until Clover showed them real justice and kindness. Sometimes lending out a hand is enough to help save someone. Those messages made me love the Undetale, UTY and Deltarune. Plus every other fangame (TS!Underswap, DELTATRAVELER, etc).

I think Kanako is a special case. Remember that she's a Boss Monster, so her monster soul is more powerful than those of regular monsters. This, plus the essence of Integrity injected into her, may be what is allowing her to regain her true self, even if not quite stable. Both could also explain why she didn't merge with other amalgamates.

I reckon this animation follows the theory that after pacifist all of the human children were revived, like Clover? I am incredibly excited for this, I adore how Kanako recovers her body (even with a blue hue) through remembering her life......... reminds me of a certain au :))))))) It's super adorable how game-like this animation feels too, frisk doing what i would call "player quirks" like the geno dance in part 1 make this feel super immersive! The story is also very heartwarming and fun to follow, definitely starting to tug at the heartstrings too... Best of luck with part 3! Hope I can catch the premiere next time!!

Alright I really like how this story and animation is going! Also feels like a good idea to make it very short with 3 parts so doesnt go on for too long. Since we still all story plot and development from just three parts!
