This is a great video! Thank you very much for posting it! The tips are great, especially the ones about charging the batteries. I have had my eyes on getting one of these for almost a year. I noticed on some of the other, older video reviews by other people that this used to cost around $1200. The price came down to $999 last year and on Labor Day this year they came down to just under $500. The batteries and charger alone are worth more than that and they can be used with other Ryobi tools. I bought one and just finished putting it together today (really easy to do). It is well built, solid! Can't wait to try it out! Thank you again for the great video! Your video is much more thorough and informative than any of the others that I viewed.

Just ordered two of these for myself at $500 each with the 4 batteries included from HD. I only wanted one, but the 4 extra batteries and dual charger are worth more than $500 on their own and I'll either use the spare tool for parts or use both machines at once on my landscaping crew. I think when the tool dies you can pull the tire pins out and insert them in the outer hole that does not engage the drive rod. That way the wheels can spin freely with no charge. At least, it looked like there was another hole to use in your video. Can't wait to get mine! Going to be doing this same type of nasty lawn renovation.

@@NicJames2378 yeah it rolls freely if you just stick the pins in the hole that does not engage the wheels

Putting the handle to the highest position and using opposing side tilted toward ballast set it to reverse so you can wheel it over asphalt and concrete easier. and wheels can be in neutral when taking the pin out and putting it to the other hole

Just picked one of these up and set up and noticed the same thing with the first handle bolt. It was already in the handle. My box came with all the nuts, bolt and washers in separate zip-lock bags with number stickers on bag that corresponded to the instruction numbers (which once I realized that made it much easier). Same issue with the hex key on the back rear shield, the provided hex tool did not fit well enough to not trip the head. Ran one pass so far, planning to run more this weekend when I have more time. Curious how well its going to work in our soil. A lot of clay hard pack desert soil, so we'll see.

@@JaimieBaccus I have used mine a few times in hard clay, and it performed really well. I thought I would have issues with the shear pins, but they have held up just fine. However, I ordered a new set just in case. Thanks for sharing!

So far ive watched 4 videos on ryobi cultvators. Seems like each had problems. one was put together incorrectly by HD and the person had to completely redo it! I asked the first video maker if he still liked the product and he replied that he had returned it even though in the video he seemed happy.
