Life is luck really. I picked one of these up on a facebook marketplace group 2 weeks ago for 40 bucks au. Wasn't running. Needed a new fuel line as the existing had rotted and snapped. Had one in the toolbox and changed the plug for good measure. Compression is stunning & she took 5-6 pulls to run. Used for only 30 mins so far but am happy for now. I have 5 all up. This, honda, stihl, blah, blah, blah... With a little tweaking on every brand they run fine. I've found the factory never gets it right. Tighten everything and adjust the idol and you'll be golden.

@@TheRuralProject Cheers mate. He said his local quoted him $120 over the phone to fix it and a service. I honestly didn't think he'd take my offer but I guess he wasn't the handy type. Although the shop were definitely having a laugh.

Hey could you please please please review the Electric models, the 18V Brushless HP 26CM TriArc Brush Cutter and the new 36V Maxpower HP with 30CM TriArc cutting disc. Their are virtually no reviews on KZbin of these particular models with the harness and the bike handlbar style controls.

Hey max power, sorry mate, I only review what I have and I don’t plan on reviewing any battery brush cutters, I have acres of land to brushcut so I think 2 stroke is still my best option. Good luck with your search.

Ive had a 52cc Ryobi for about 8 years now. Its been 100% reliable. Runs perfect regardless of the angle you hold it at. Starts easily although ive never tried to start it whilst trying to reach behind to pull the cord. You can move the blade guard as far away from the cutter as you want. I use 3mm or 3.5mm line or the tri blade. I wouldnt part with mine unless i could find one with an electric start.

Hey Rob, thanks for watching the video. Good to hear that your Ryobi is going good, 8 years of use is great, you cannot complain about that. Not sure if I got a lemon or not, but I sure am happy with my Stihls that I now use. Won't be long and we will be into spring and it'll be time to cut more grass. I'll be giving the Stihl Duro Cut a try next, I hear good things about it. I also recently bought a mulching blade, hopefully that will be good on the tougher stuff. Good luck.

I have had a look at the equivalent Stihl whipper snipper and the cost was close $2,000 compare with $400 for the Ryobi. Ryobi don't make good bump feed heads. First thing you do when you buy a Ryobi trimmer is get rid of the line feed head and put a decent one on. Also, ditch the line they give you and buy your own proper line. You will still need to adjust the ergonomics of the machine to suit your body. Sometimes that may mean re-tapping new holes if necessary. I do like Stihl products but ... the pricing is redicules.

Hi Nenad, I agree the Stihl prices are very high, you do get a great product but its not perfect. I've had to replace a piston and cylinder on my FS250 a while ago, I was told I'd used wrong fuel, but I don't think so. That was a few years ago and I've had no engine trouble with it since, fingers crossed 🤞

Hi, I’ve been thinking of venturing into the grass cutting business, and that Ryobi was one of my first choices. But after watching the video, it may seem I might have been wrong about. Do you have any recommendations if I want to use the machine for business? Thank you!

Hi, the price was right, but it certainly was frustrating to use. I have 2 stihl brush cutters and a Honda. All have been very reliable and had extensive use. If I was you I’d look at Honda or stihl, one with the handle bar grips for comfortable use all day, but for grass cutting ( domestic ) you don’t need top end and all that power. A mid range would be adequate. Choose one that’s suitable and then go up a grade, to be sure it will cover all your needs. Hope this helps.

Hi Chris, this is a real shame, and seriously bad luck to have 2 machines fail. Luckily, I was able to take mine back and get a full refund after my first use. Get a stihl or a honda, they wont let you down.

Hi Dylan. Thanks for watching. I think a tractor with a slasher would only work on some of my land. A lot of it is quite steep. I think sheep or goats would be easier, that’s my plan once I build a house there.
