Got the old one but with digital readout it reads around 2.5 psi to high. It's come in handy several times. I do plan on upgrading to the newer one though, not having to sit there and hold it would be nice for those cold days.

Watched the video at 10:00 AM, bought one by 3:00 PM from Home Depot. Inflated my wife's bike tires in less than a minute. Thanks for the review.

If you have a riding lawn mower with 4 tires, a rear tine tiller with 2 giant tires, a pressure washer with 2 small tires, a chipper shredder with 2 tires, an air compressor with 2 tires, and a hand truck with 2 big tires whether its digital or analog I want it because when one of the tires of your riding mower is low on air the cut on the lawn is awful. But the handiness without having to roll your equipment close to the air compressor makes life a bit more wonderful. I have the old one with the handle but it has a digital readout with no adjustments and it works real well for my situation. Thanks for the FYI!

The new model is a home run in a tiny package. I like how the hose comes out of the pump at an angle so it doesn't kink and crack over time (especially in the cold of winter when the rubber hardens). I have the old analogue handheld model and it is quite bulky to keep in the trunk, and it's annoying having to hold onto the trigger to operate it.

I have the older inflator and it works, but is slow and inaccurate. I always have to go at least 2 psi higher then what i need. I would love to see someone test these inflators to 150psi. There NO WAY it would even come close.

You're right about going to 2 psi 😂😂😂😂 I usually have my tires at 37, so I have to go to 39 with this one

I have the manual inflator, but it has a digital pressure gauge, which is very accurate per digital and analog pressure gauge double checks. One that stops automatically would save having to stay bent over the whole time. If my current one goes out, will probably get the automatic one.

When my 5 year old manual(with the digital readout) breaks in another 5 years then maybe the automatic. FYI a bad schrader valve got the gauge up to 240 psi once before it stalled. The manual tool has been super reliable.

Absolute upgrade. If you need to inflate your tires within 15 seconds then it's not for you, but in any other case, the features are more than worth the wait.

Ive still got the old one, however, mine doesnt have the old school analog gauge? mine has a lcd screen, its is usually reading PSI's like 1 pound too high, so i just run it until it reads a pound or two higher than what im aiming for. , so it seems a bit more accurate than the older model you have? i still double check with a regular tire pressure gauge when im using it though.

Really? Such a lame, easy test says to me that Ryobis are so weak that you have to give them the easiest possible test. Sheesh! To add 10 lbs. to a partiually-inflated lawn tractor tire, I'd just use the hand pump.....

@@yotarocket Nah...I'll just use my DeWalt inflator. (Unless I forget it- My shop is 350' from the house)...then, if I'm too lazy to walk back to get it, I'll use the hand pump.
