Thanks Colin, lots of good information. One thing I've learned when using the film with print to register screen, is that if the film hinges too much, from flipping it back and forth registering one paper to the next, it will shift slightly resulting in a loss of registration. I cut a 1" wide strip of cardboard and tape it down at the hinge point of the tape and film to reinforce the hinging motion and keep 100% integrity. It serves as a strong border not allowing the film and tape to shift,

Excellent work, ❤❤❤ I usually preheat the sheets of paper when I transfer in plastisol ink I preheat the leaves to remove the moisture and no shrinkage between drying and drying

Thanks so much! Preheating is a great habit-moisture and shrinkage can definitely throw things off. You’re doing it like a pro. Keep up the great work!

Very Good content. Can I push print? I have been having challenges of coverage with pull print on PET Film, and paper.

Of course! Just be as consistent with your process as you can. Hello Bosun!

Not sure if I missed it but what meshes did you use for the different layers?
@colinhuggins61642 күн бұрын
standard 230 mesh. The clear was on a 156.

Great video, thanks for all the insight and discoveries. Question, while remixing the new black, did you have any issues with the old ink drying while on the screen. Looked like the screen was left in place and just wiped down. Thanks.

The total time to add the extra pigment was maybe 2-3 minutes. So "dry in" was very minimal. A couple squeegee strokes and everything was cleared up!

Thanks for the response. And glad you're having fun switching it up a little.
