@benrig894 жыл бұрын
@篠崎あゆみ I agree, but it goes deeper than just Rockstar trying to be 'edgy'. They seem to have a weird fascination with recreating the more boring, mundane aspects of life in their respective cities (golfing, anyone?) to the detriment of story and characters. Yakuza pours much more effort into story, characters, and what they've got left over they use to create some awesome, if not tonally consistent minigames, like pocket cart and karaoke, or disco. Two takeaways I've had from playing both GTA and Yakuza games, the former has boring minigames, the latter has entertaining ones (mostly), and that while Yakuza has a much more limited world (and mechanics), they pack so much more heart, soul and hilarity into a few blocks than Rockstar does into 30 acres of meticulously rendered landscape.
@garrettoliva51544 жыл бұрын
@@benrig89 Though Yakuza does have some boring Minigames like Golfing, that FLARE and SPICE that characters like Kiryu bring to the table makes it much more thrilling. It all has that... how can I put it... Japanese-ness? They just make things more interesting? Yakuza is just cut from a different jib than GTA, and personally that difference is fucking fantastic.
@CrimsonRoseMoonlight4 жыл бұрын
One thing I dislike about GTA games is the lack of post-game content. Once you finish the main story you cannot get into awesome shootouts without intentionally attacking innocent people and the side activities you can do are pretty meh. In Yakuza on the other hand there is shit to do once you finish the main story. There are plenty of actually entertaining side quests, fun minigames and above all, the main gameplay of beating the shit out of people doesn't go away once you finish the story because random thugs will attack you on the streets, so you can still beat people up. I also prefer the more rounded characters of Yakuza rather than the caricatures we get in GTA. Michael's son for example, is pretty flat as a character because he's a caricature. Sure I will laugh a bit at him but after that he just becomes eye-rolling. I get it that it's supposed to be a satire of todays society but still, it's annoyingly pretentious and most of all, boring.

My favorite part of this song other than the toots is when the energy meter fills up and goes BwooooOOOOOOOOOO

This song on hard almost gave me a stroke and trying to beat the best dancer in Kamurocho for the substory almost drove me insane.

if you put the playback speed to 1.25x, it becomes eurobeat
@lon2424 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah. This could 100% be Eurobeat with some minor remixing, surprised it hasn't been done yet

@@megagamememe idk why but i hate this type of music Like whats so good by speeding the music attach a stolen pic of twitter of a anime character (bonus points with lolis) and call it a day

This is already Eurobeat. This is what it was like in the very beginning until it accelerated towards the mid-90s.

1.0: Boss that is one of the main character side's cast, but required fight as a turning point in the story and for chivalry 1.25x: anime Final Boss phase 2, main fight 1.5x: ^ ^ "Here's my FINAL FORM!"

This has got to be Yoko Oginome, right? This song sounds a lot like Dancing Hero (Eat You Up) in particular.

I'm grooving to this song much more than Friday Night, mate. I like the other songs, but this one grabbed my attention immediately with the Simmonds drums intro. Ps... Can you do a 4-minute variation of this? Thanks for this video...
