Man needs his own revenge drama or an action thriller with romance mixed in and he has to get the girl! Also i feel like with this character, Byeon Woo-seok has set a standard for himself which can be quite tricky to deal with. Whatever drama he stars in next, I feel like people will end up comparing his acting in this character with the one he will play which can be a bit difficult for him to impress the audience. Thats just my thought though. But he really needs to be casted in serious roles whre he can show his acting. He acts better than a lot of the mainstream actors!

I know right. They wasted his potential in this drama, his character is so layered and multi-dimensional. It's almost criminal to just make him a plot device 😭. Like him becoming an anti-hero with an redemption arc would have been more enjoyable to watch.

@@Veautiful_KC Yes, exactly! He pretty much is an anti-hero and was indeed a multi-faceted character. Like, one moment you hate him but the next moment you see why he did what he did which becomes quite difficult to put him in a box and call him the bad guy. This constant mental tug of war is what captured the audience's attention and proved that Byeon Woo-seok is more than just a pretty face. His character almost kind of reminds me of Heathcliff from Wuthering Heights. I feel like the director and the production team only wanted to use him as a thirst trap to get the ratings but Woo-seok just waltzed in with his model walk and overshadowed every other actor with his acting skills! In an interview he mentioned that one of his favourite character was the Joker and I feel he drew in a lot of inspiration from that character. I really want him to get more projects where he gets to show us how good of an actor he is. I am also really happy that he got nominated for a lot of awards and will be one of the presenters in MAMA this year!

A guy, abandoned by his parents after birth,adopted by russian mafia and trained and controlled by them all his life... still when he grew up , he looked for that kid he had as his only friend, track down his dad and made a stationary for him and loved a woman so much that he opened about his past and the brutal scenery of his fate...... yet the female lead and the drama didn't help him , didn't give him a chance, this guy was ready to change for Her. If the female lead with her mother and granny wanted they could probabely take down the mafia (who was the real drug dealer, Ryu Si Oh was a lackey).But despite having that soft and hidden warmth he had inside he just got BETRAYED, all his life.. no love,, no mercy.He even cried after finding out about her true self.. And ofc, the drama was shitty enough to kill the only "Real protagonist" of this drama.

He just needed to trust and love, he didn’t have it from parents he lost. My parents are alive but I was neglected for different reasons- first they were fighting each others all the time. Secondly I had congenital deformity in my legs and I was burned in my face- so I was a shame for them because they believed I am so ugly and full of flaws- so they neglected me and abused me physically, they even allowed 2 male siblings to abuse me. I was like a maid in my parents house, me and my older sister. I was able to escape from them very very far as I used studying abroad as an excuse. Guess what, I still till now feel the cold I experienced when I was hiding outside the house so I don't get beaten, I still smell and feel all the pain -and I never felt safe no matter what- I have 0 trust in people especially men. I have never experienced what would be like being loved and what serenity and trust is. that guy he has a destroyed heart into sharp pieces wounding him everyday, so we do, people like him. He just wanted to feel those feelings (love and trust) with her -he turns into a kid when he is around her. indeed, people who their parents betrayed them have little faith in a lot of things, hate lies and life worth nothing to them- they would rather be dead than to allow another one humiliate them again- indeed, we like to die with dignity, will do it without any hesitation even a fraction of second😭😭😭😭

I loved 🥰 this drama.. I didn’t like the villain’s ending it was to quick. I didn’t agree with what he was doing with the drug, but I’m thinking he was forced by the Russian Mafia bc they took all of the boys from an orphanage & mistreated them, by beating them. Brainwashing them giving them a no way out of the Organization. In my opinion the way they ended the last episode was an open ending. Is there going to be a Season 2? I really hope so. I want the strong woman to take down the leader of the Russian mafia. Which I knew all along Mr. Bread was involved. The one laundering the money. I needed to know if there was a bomb in the package on the plane in the Stepmother’s bag. They also introduced a male that has the strong power..Is that a nephew? I thought only woman that were born had the strong power. Also our FL never got to see that the cop had her horses bell.

The ending was so dumb, it didn't fit his character. I just dont see him taking the easy way out when he worked so hard for so long. Watching this on Netflix now. Don't care for the dorky character of the leading girl, no matter what her deal is/was. Love the handsome villian. Hope to see him in a romantic role where he gets his love interest. Don't like any film where the FL acts weird, and constantly makes a variety of dumb faces. Seems the writers love pairing up the handsome ML with FL characters such as this FL. Not rushing back to see how this film ends either. 🙄🙄😑

Honestly last two episodes were trash to me, no proper closer for Shi-oh. Such a wasted potential of the drama, felt if the director and writer chose someone else than Byeon Wooseok it could... have been digestable to take him as a villian but they went wrong on that, And turn out A WHOLE HALF Liked Shi-oh more!
