I can only imagine being one of the few fans of the original Street Fighter playing the sequel for the first time and seeing Sagat pop up as one of the bosses and that he now has that eyepatch and gruesome scar. Very cool detail that stuck around in the lore.

If you’re lucky in the og sf2 to even get passed the first round against sagat he was hard AF but bison was the hardest one in the og broken sf2 arcade version . Quarter after quarter . Strands of hair being ripped out like OMG! I have to beat this patch & cape throwing assholes

Reminds me when I was in an arcade 17 years ago, they had Street fighter 2 in there and my mate sucked at it. I said I was a beast on this game on sega megadrive back in the day let me show you how it's done. Hardest setting. I got put against Ryu and as soon as it said fight HadoukenHadoukenHadouHadouHadkenDouken... it was literally doing so many so fast it couldn't even say the words properly, the screen was just a constant conveyor belt of hadouken fire balls coming at me, I couldn't even jump over them as I would just land on more, it did it for the whole fight until I was KO'd. Never seen that in my life and it ruined me.

I like the fact that during the first match, Sagat was all out offensive, and second round defensive, yet the match was on 1 all after 2 rounds, the fact that on the 3rd round, Sagat's ultimate which took out most of Ryu's health and Ryu returning with his ultimate move and having that very close fight at the end really made this video enjoyable and exciting to watch. Great play!

In my opinion Sagat would punish You more in SFII and a few errors that Ryu should have been punished bad. The old Street Fighter, Sagat would do hard-damaged tiger uppercuts at 1:02 ans 1:07 (1st round), because Sagat finally did it at 1:35 and 2:43 (2nd round and that's the Sagat I know).
