hI, I worked and lived in Québec for 10 years. It was interesting to see a japanese's point of view of our old city. The sign with the "ostrich lady" you saw was a revendication of our correctional establishment workers that were calling the minister of public security an ostrich because she was "hiding her head in the sand" like ostrich do. Meaning she was overseeing the problem. The name "Vicky Amos" is the artist that made the drawing. I am coming to Japan in November for 3 weeks. I can't wait.
