Wow. What an excellent performance. Everything is working, the fast notes and especially how you hold the long notes without breaking it too early and your conductor is doing a great job. The way he is building this piece. Great musicality. Well done. This is the best wind band version i've heard
@@aaaaaaaaa5147 Oh trust me, as a high school student in America, we don't cut preformances. As a musician, I feel that all the music should be embraced unless it's too much for the students and the pace makes the transitions ok. An example is An Ge Fhiain by Ryan George. It was first premiered in Texas of the United States, and then George composed a version he stayed with which wasn't even as short as Okayama Gakugeikan's performance, the pacing was so rushed after listening to the full version. Another example is A Brussels Requiem, there are versions that are literally 11 minutes shorter than the original version, which sucks because I LOVE the full piece, it's absolutely amazing with it's musicality and how virtuosity is manipulated for art.

@@WolfgangXP65-67 I agree with your opinion. we should play all score without cutting. I think cutting score in Japanese junior high/ high school is japan's bad culture.
