The movie as well as the music breaks the heart, 2star crossed lovers who cannot be together here on earth so their destiny, they will be together in the afterlife -the movie with Ralph finnes and Juliette Binoche are the true Heathcliff and Kathy. Beautiful movie one of my favorites.

Absolutely, have you watched the version with Fiennes and Binoche? If not please do. It'll break your heart but beautifully!! Sinead O Connor features in it and narrates if memory serves but anyway you've probably seen it so I'll stop. Wishing you a lifetime of joy, Sean xx😁

I have the DVD; love it too and I couldn't help but find the composer of the music; thank you for your response, I loved the old movie also with Laurence Oliver and Meryl Oberon; the music in the newer version is more enchanting though of course; wish you joy as well

The movie with Ralph Finnes was gorgeous and with this gorgeous sound track it’s complete , it’s haunting melody breaks one’s heart, after seeing the movie you would understand Mr Sakamoto was a genius to translate the heartbreak of the movie into heartbreaking gorgeous music. RIP Mr Sakamoto you fly high in the heavens so that the angels may hear your gorgeous music , you are missed❤️🥀❤️🥀❤️🥀❤️🥀❤️🥀❤️🥀❤️🥀❤️ 7:10 ( wuthering heights is the movie)
