Troll levels are amazing, and some of the most interestingly-built levels; but it feels like coming across them in an Endless Run is kind of a poor way to experience them, since your lives are finite. I think if you searched up some popular troll levels for solo-runs, you'd enjoy them a bit more!

I was just typing the exact same message! absolutely love watching Ryu play troll levels, seeing which trolls he can dodge and of course his reactions to them. but they are of course a huge bummer when they show up in a run. maybe skipping troll levels to play later outside of super endless runs. watching Ryu play CarlSagan42's troll levels are my absolute favourite Ryukahr content.

I wish Nintendo just gave a flag that makes it not show in endless/search then you can make broken levels without making super expert a dumpster fire. Sometimes things breaking feels really good but often it's better to experience them without it being tied to your runs. Also nintendo wouldn't feel urged to delete the levels at the same rate.

I think that troll level was made specifically with Ryu in mind. The maker got in his head and made him second guess his every move and even then would have to make him triple guess because he already accounted for Ryus second guessing.

I LOVE it when you get troll levels Ryu. The way you approach them is fun to watch. But also.... Ryu - "Is this the Safety Coin? It looks like a Safety Coin." Also Ryu- immediately gets Safety Coin... EDIT: Ryu, trolls aren't torture, any more than a hard puzzle is torture. It's just a puzzle level that kills you when you get it wrong :D

So actually you could cheese this troll level if you anticipated the key death troll. You could just wait for death after the first red coin checkpoint without going to the second red coin checkpoint (not very fun to watch I admit). Then after you die, I’m almost sure you would start from the first checkpoint with the key and voilà!

Level-viewr gang 11:27 the swtich makes bombs on tracks fall into the room 10:45 this red pipe works and leads you to a very weird area 10:00 (on the ceiling) where you're being mushroom checked and it ends up here 29:53 there is a pipe down there 32:20 the fact that you could literally miss the checkpoint, die, and win by getting the key like this, makes it so frustrating, because he could have done that in the run, if he thought about it

​@@josevitorino1533 no, it's based on the on/off switch. if you load the room with the switches being red (like when you spawn) a spike ball triggers a block that contains a key. Throughout the level you enter the room with the switches being off (blue) so you can never get the key

Seeing all the comments I will just put my personal opinion here that I am not a fan of watching troll levels, for the simple reason that there is no rhyme or reason to anything in them. They are simply pure trial and error, and do not showcase Ryu's abilities. I noticed they are more and more present because a lot of people comment positively on them. Kind of like when the Nuzlocke phenomenon happened. First few vids of troll levels were fun but I think Carl Sagan and others occupy that niche for people who are looking for that type of content. Still, great vid as always!
