I’ve been there. I started playing as soon as the game got released and yes, ryu is a god. And so are the other smm players. There was a level I took 2 hours to finish it and DGR, took 3 lives.

It was a kaizo tutorial or something he did that really opened it up for me. Like I knew he made it look easy, but actually seeing the inputs required for some of the crazy kaizo stuff he's done, holy shit does he make it look easy.

I don’t think Ryu is familiar enough with the film to give your level its proper recognition but oh well. I loved your choice for the natives at the end. Bravo.

Me, start of level and just a bit into it: "O.K., the blocks are marked. A decent level, bit trolly with the fish but fine." Level: ~Smirks~ Ryu: ~Hits unmarked box over spikes. Me: "Oh, it's *that* type of level then." Nice bomb throw there Ryu. Yeah, you were supposed to go in front of the spike ball, like Indie. That hidden block under the ON/OFF switch was great because it was so unexpected. Then a naked death pipe. Booooo on the naked part. Surprise piranha plant! Blind jumps are bad mmmmmmkay. That fish.
