Ryu has a tendency to get hyperfocused when he sees a potential path to victory, ignoring all other possibilities. He didn't notice the safe spot on the left after the running section either, until he died there and had a moment to relax. It can make watching the episodes frustrating, but I've come to just accept that aspect as one of the charms of his channel.

When he got hit by the chainchomp in the next room just before that, I didn't understand why he didn't just go back through the door and get the Link powerup from the "boss" area. Edit: Wait, I'm just stupid lol he was missing a red coin. I refuse to delete my stupidity, but I at least edited it to reflect that I realized immediately after posting my comment. Kinda like how you look for the remote for an hour, but as soon as you ask someone where it is, suddenly you spot it under the couch. Edit 2: You could say I was... hyperfocused on it... (because he literally said "i missed a red coin" but I had him tuned out lol)

I watch Ryukahr videos like others watch sports. I yell when I see something that seems obvious. Cheer when he pulls something insane off. Like most sport fans, I couldn't do half of what Ryu does but I shake my head when he fails. I'm a fan.

You say that you'd never win 100 mario with 3 lives, but it's not very uncommon for you to have over 70 lives remaining at the end of a run

If I see a level where there are munchers and moles that explode and leave upside down shells, I just skip it. Because I don't like playing a level I've seen a thousand times before. If I can describe the entire concept of your level and the person listening can think of a thousand levels it could apply to, you're doing something wrong.

There's this new game out called " Enshrouded " and it looks like something you would be into. I think it's cool. I reminds me of Zelda Breath of the Wild but with Fortnite Building or something added to it and the world look interesting to explore. I don't know what console it's on or if it's on Steam. You may enjoy it. Beats me. Looks like a game that may require many videos with Part 1 Part 2 etc. But Maybe not. I don't know.
