Ryuki PS1 Is The Most OVERRATED Kamen Rider fighting Game

Kamen Rider ryuki on the PS1 is not as good as people say in my opinion...

To me, The KR Dragon Knight game on the wii pretty much did a better version of this game. The card that summon the contract monster and final vent card can be blocked at least. But yea i do also have fond memories of the Ryuki game cuz it was cool being able to use the cards u see in the show.

The DS Dragon Knight is arguably superior, the Wii one is an asset flip of Climax Heroes(where eventually all Ryuki riders are playable on it), whereas the DS game was built from the ground up with equally good gameplay, you get to fight much more monsters, and Xaviax was actually a challenging boss What makes it better is how they treated the Final Vent moves, which are real time moves that you need to land on opponents instead of a punch and then a cutscene happens, so when Knight Survive rams you with his bike, it happens in real time and you can (try) to dodge it

I mean, it's pretty much Climax heroes, but just Ryuki. So yeah, it would be cool. With an addition to Xaviax with the most over the top finisher.

@@tedjomuljono3052 Wii Dragon Knight being called an "asset flip" of Climax Heroes is hilarious considering the only stuff it took are the core fighting game mechanics and the stages (and some other stuff i might forget, i apologize if i did miss any) Literally every rider except Ryuki/Dragon Knight was made from the ground up, they even made Odin's final vent which was never shown in Ryuki, only in Dragon Knight. Only until Climax Heroes OOO did it reuse the Dragon Knight riders and changed it to the Ryuki riders, as well as the Mirror World mode appearing as Ragnarok mode Im not gonna say the DS doesnt have its merits though, i remember having a lot of fun with it but it was a bit tedious and could have been better, it definitely just felt like a DS game made by a small team just to make money. Im just saying give the Wii Dragon Knight some credit, i respect them taking something that already exists and works well and repurposed it for something else as well as them making a completely new game from scratch with it's jank and nifty mechanics

The NDS version obviously much better, it has more features, Stages and Task that quite difficult, despite it lacks the graphics You can dodge final vent as well, Freeze vent, Steal ,Copy etc

When I was a snotty dumb kid, this game was pretty fun because "Wow I could actually use their cards when I want to!" but growing up and then replaying again all the things you've said about Ryuki game is the same as mine. Agito will always be my favorite since they have much better BGM (banger BGM title screen btw), sound effect, "combos", and the pace is really fast unlike Ryuki. After this game, I've not played any other Kamen Rider games (except Battride War Genesis) so I am looking forward to the next one :D Oh btw, Zolda's Shoot Vent is really broken since you can knock people out repeatedly from afar.

The reason it's "overrated" is the number of riders and abilities we can play instead of just one or few riders. Mechanically not the best maybe but still a fan favorite Rider game on the PS1

Btw if you play ryuki/dragon knight and you summon a weapon and use a grab when the weapon is active. You can use a powerful weapon grab attack.

Yeah i agree even as kid i really thought Agito is better KR fighting game.. Like The SFX and Hit effect is so satisfaying in Agito... Ryuki have like idk like cardbox SFX for some reason

Man I hope the game is just having issues with sprite smoothing cuz if it looks like then then woof. This is why I dislike sprite smoothing cuz it makes otherwise beautiful games look like this.
