i think they're definitely building up to something involving him this season, the way i remember them talking about this season made it sound like it's going to do some huge stuff and yoda vs. mickey was already a pretty huge note to start the season on, so i sort of expect something crazy. i think it'll involve sarge most likely ! part of me slightly wondered if stuff like the bit in yoda vs. mickey where wiz found out he wasn't boomstick's best friend and was hurt would be the beginning of more tension between them and a sign they might be building to wiz vs. boomstick _(and i guess if that happened meant they either changed their mind on it being the finale to the show or would be ending it with this season 8( which i severely doubt)_ but that's probably just my imagination playing, i think boomstick is just finally going to learn the truth this season !

The power scale between the 2 universes is a joke. Shadow has way more firepower to work with. Shadow lost against DBZ which has so much power it's ridiculous, and the top tier Pokemon which is stupidly powerful the anime categorizes him as unbeatable except through trickery. Ryuko has lost to some rather weak opponents and had to have Senkets absorb a lot of life-fibers to fight her mom to a draw.

Granted, it's been a long time since I've last seen Kill La Kill, but I don't see much chance for Ryoko, sure she's incredibly strong in her own right but her primary weapon is designed for destroying Life Fibers (which Shadow doesn't posses) and probably doesn't have a good counter for things like Shadow's light speed movement, time manipulation through Chaos Control, or his invincibile Super Shadow form. This should be a flashy fight, but something tells me it will end all too soon.

i feel like this is going to be a very 1 sided fight, i love ryuko and kill la kill, but her power mostly comes into play when dealing with life fibers and well if they aren't there i feel like most of her kit is just not being used, also the sonic universe is absurdly strong. i mean the speeds most of the characters travel alone is just a massive advantage.

Sooo its not even a matter of being able to Bond with Senketsu. Part of his Life Fibers are merged with her DNA. So literally no one but Ryuko can tap into his power. And only those he deems favourable could even wear him, like Mako and Satsuki, who lets not forget incase someone is about to call me out on it, is Ryuko’s sister and thus share the same DNA

Death Battle rarely uses sound logic (Shadow should have beaten Mewtwo also) but I really don't see any good way for Ryuko to beat him. I say this as a massive fan of Kill la Kill, it's easily my favorite show and Ryuko is one of my favorite characters, so I am not biased towards Shadow.

At first I thought the only major thing the combatants had in common was their color scheme, but not that I think about it, they were both genetic experiments that incorporated some alien DNA into their creation, and their defining adventure is preventing said alien life form from consuming the Earth while reluctantly making some friends along the way, so I guess this is a good match.

Kiiinda wish that they went over her physical prowess. She was able to slice through TWO BUILDINGS AT ONCE. WITHOUT SENKETSU. Not to mention she can fly with him and create sharp claws while wearing him. When absorbing enough life fibers as well, she can activate a form called Senketsu Kisaragi, which allows her to breathe in space as well as even stronger power. Also, the Life Fibers in her prevent her from dying. They just regenerate any wound. Moral of the story, they are NOT going to let her win this lmao
