@@firstbits650 Kill la kill is very good yeah but it's also flawed. Basically it's a big commentary on fan service, body image and the relationship between people and clothing. But while it uses fan service to say something about it, sometimes fan service is a bit fan service. It's kind of like the korean movie "The Handmaiden" in that sense. Sometimes I think it's also a bit gratuitous in its characterization. They could have passed the same message without needing to go quite as far as they did. Overall great anime though.

I am genuinely impressed. when I first saw the plasma cut, i was like "here we go again" another plasma cut sword. but then, after the scissors, and the beautiful forging, i really liked this one. I started off hating reforged, but now I love it just as much, if not more than the old series. You guys are great.

As someone who has been pretty negative since Tony stopped doing Man-at-Arms and criticized most of the Stagmer brothers' work I have to say the videos have been getting a lot more fun to watch and the builds a lot more interesting but this one; They really blew the doors off with this one, this is probably my favorite build out of all the Man-at-Arms series 10/10 keep up the great work.

Because of kindergarden safety, our collective unconcious says that "scissors are dangerous and evil". When they dumped a bucket of scissors and started to make them into a killing weapon, I started to realise they were making them most uncanny, _unholy_, abhorrent, repulsive *anathema* that has ever been crafted by human hands. Yeah, I just found this series a few days ago; and cannot watch the first cast after watching these guys. Their work is masterful, while the cutouts almost feels like cheating.

Tony's crew (which rarely got any credit in the episode, a whole lot of "I/we" even when you see the rest of the people doing the work) generally seemed like they were making functional props rather than weapons, and rarely ever seemed to know or care about what it was they were adapting. In hindsight, everyone who was crying about the change in cast really had no basis to complain beyond the fact that the hybrid weapon stuff was not what people wanted.

it's always amazing to see innovation sure they could've done this like they did in the beginning of the ep and people would've accepted it but because they went the extra mile and made it out of scissors it changed massively not only did it mean they were experimenting with the original material but it left an amazing in built pattern which left the final product looking even more beautiful.
