So much more space for the everything! Here on land we get the bottom 10 feet for the most part. That octopus farm was at 10,000 feet deep i heard, that's 1000 times the space, no wonder there's so many odd creatures we keep discovering !

@V3ntilator Stupid response. You clearly simply googled how much of the ocean has been mapped, and then used the very first thing that popped up. Typical. The project in question is mapping the ocean floor to a sinilar accuracy that we have mapped here on land. But we still know what in general the ocean floor looks like. If we didn't we would know exactly where the tectonic fault lines are. We still know where the high and low points of the ocean are. We know where the mountaon ranges and cliffs are. We don't need precision to the square meter to know all that

@@Recoverywithtamye Hmm. Seen a lot of memorable things that I could pick from but, the most remarkable thing is an image that I could never forget. We were conducting sea trials after a refit off the San Diego Coast. Night dive. We were ascending to the surface. I left the Mercury Iodide and Incandescent lights on and was looking out the forward viewport when, out of the darkness two Giant Mola Mola's swimming side by side slowly came out of the darkness, turned in sync and disappeared back into the darkness. It was surreal. It seemed they moved through the water without moving. One just above the other. My Co-pilot and Observer were doing sphere checks and didn't see them. The sight is like a photograph forever etched in my memory. If you look up Ocean Sunfish (Mola) you will understand. They look human like, and they're Huge. As big as the DSV.

You're sweet. Its not stress. Its awesomeness. Our Creator wants us to see the "fringes of his works." He loves it when we explore. Thats why some of us love to find new things. Otherwise life is boring and scary. Sometimes new things frighten people. Learn to open your mind to new possibilities. Imagination is the key. If you look beyond your fear, you can create and explore. Its awesome. Never stop learning. Thats what makes life fun. You can do it. Just try. If you learned not to explore or create imagination the brain is limited. Escape your fear and try to embrace the new. Once u do, your world 🌎 is endless, just like our Creator. Watch videos of the universe to start. Its truly amazing. You get to see God's handiwork. I ❤ u more.

40. The state of the lost Is like the depths and layers of darkness In a vast deep ocean, above which are waves crashing upon each other, above which are dark clouds : Depths of darkness, one Above another : if a man Stretches out his hand, He can hardly see it ! For any to whom God Giveth not light, There is no light ! 41. See you not that it is God Whose is Glorified by all creatures in the heavens and on earth, and even the birds (Of the air) with wings Outspread ? Each one knows Its own (mode of) prayer And praise. And God Knows well all that they do. 42. Indeed to God belongs The dominion of the heavens And the earth ; and to God you will all return. 43. See you not that God Makes the clouds move Gently, then joins them Together, then makes them Into a heap ?-then wilt thou See rain issue forth From their midst. And He Sends down from the sky Mountain masses (of clouds) Wherein is hail : He makes it land where He pleases And He turns it away From where He pleases. And the lightening that he produces from it, which blinds the sight. 44. It is God Who alternates The Night and the Day : Verily in all of these things Is a sign for people of understanding ! 45. And God has created Every animal from water : Of them there are some That creep on their bellies ; Some that walk on two legs ; And some that walk on four. God creates what He wills ; For verily God has power Over all things. 46. We have indeed sent down Signs and proofs that make things clear : And God guides whom He wills To a way that is straight. The Noble Qur'an 24:40

@theashologist

That doesn't stop us from seeing it as horrifying. People find things horrifying AFTER they learn about it. Why is the sight of a lion rampaging towards a jeep in a safari still scary despite knowing about its existence. Because it is. Because it's a predator with an expectancy of killing for hunger and survival and installing fear into their prey. Serial killers are still horrifying. So quite a ridiculous response to say things aren't horrifying. That's the human concept. By your logic if we know or understand everything their would be no such thing as fear as an emotion. Humans wouldn't interpret fear.

This is an interesting documentary. Now my question is, if scientists found some species at the depth of 10 000 meters where there is very high pressure, now does that mean that the bodies of those fish species found at that bottom of the ocean are covered with very hard body materials to withstand pressure at that level?
@kamxam1384
@kamxam1384 Жыл бұрын
Nope...some are i think but once the species adapt to the pressure, they don't have to be armored. If a human being could breathe water, they could go very deep in the ocean. (Like in the movie "The Abyss")

Different definitions of darkness, human eyes can't see as much in "darkness" as some other animals can... so dark for us, does not automatically mean darkness for life... note the 1% of light adding in all this. Like day and night having the twilight in between. The gray zone. I get your point this was not very clear in the video, and there were a few little mistakes in the video. Which is why no one is going to build a submarine that goes any further than than are capable of now. Too risky.

There is a lot of incorrect information in this video. For a starter 40m is not the limit for Diving. Free divers (I.e Divers without scuba equipment) have been known to go deeper than 100m. In fact scuba divers have gone deeper than 300m in the past. 40m is the limit for recreational diving. Beyond that depth you'll be technical diving. The deeper you descent air doesn't get forced out your lungs. The air in your lungs compresses.
