Thx for the comparison, great vid, once the cache is filled 3d cpus get unstable fps, from what I can see(at least when there is ram speed difference). Got a 7700 this August, the 9800x3d costs almost 3x as much, so I don't regret it, I'd rather spend those $350 on a better gpu, my 1070ti really needs to be replaced...

I'm just going to wait for am6 at this point. A 5700x3d is $170 on ali express and there just isn't a reason to upgrade anything but a gpu at that point for most people on am4 still.

Medium + DLSS ultra Perf. I tried to make it so that the GPU was not a bottleneck. But in the beginning and in the end the GPU still remained a bottleneck or close to it...

Another thing is testing it in SIRCAA - that place is literally the hot bed for anomalies both inside the game and optimisation FAILURE.

@ i think its VRAM, i get weird lighting artefacts - maybe so much bouncing lights and lumen n nates what have you bc I can't even tell if its night day. My 3080 only has 10gb.

I went 5600x to 5700x3d big difference it was bad lows and all gone. Using with 3080 extreme dlss quality and fsr game runs smooth!

Пока стоишь, все данные в кэше барахтаются и фпс выше. Только начинаешь движение, и сразу из-за медленной оперативки и относительно слабых ядер, становится все печально.

The test just throws everything we know out of the window. So what really fixes the framerate? Not DDR5 Ram, not CPU speed, not even CPU cache. The 1% is all over the place. it seems CPU doesn't matter when it DIPS - so it must be something POPPING into the render FOV that TRIPs the GPU - some surfaces with too much nanite and lumen and all that UE5 BS that don't serve the experience - note this happens at epic setting. One thing is clear if you have a faster CPU it does improve overall performance by a significant amount. And why does the same card runs much hotter with the more powerful chip? while not getting much more frames?

You got r7 7700? sweet, by the way do you test with same stalker 2 game version? keep in mind that newer ones are supposed to run a bit better, so i think its important to stick with one or the other

The channel needs to move forward... I think many AM4 socket owners will be interested in videos from AM5. I did these tests with version 1.0.3. patch 1.1 just appeared today, I'll have to check it.

@@neochannelbenchmark oh, its a bit of a shame since even 1.01 to 1.03 have some slight fps differences, for your cpu comparisons i would recommend sticking with one version only

@@neochannelbenchmark I personally prefer your 5700X3D comparison videos, because I (along with many people) just upgraded to one this month. A ton of people that bought R5 3600 CPUs over the past 4 years and didn't hop on the "5800X3D train" are just now upgrading. I don't think you'll need to completely abandon AM4 content for another 6 months to a year. Thanks for the videos, especially the STALKER 2 and 5700X3D ones.

@@124thDragoon Also have just upgraded to 5700X 3D / X570s / 64GB DDR4 3600 / 3060Ti. So I'm one of those guys)) BTW, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2 runs fine on 2K with high settings so far so good.

You shouldn't use TAA, it looks terrible. It's the worst option out of all of them.

FPS схожий, но стабильность на 7700 с ддр5 на голову лучше по min, 0.1%, 1% fps. И играться на нём, соответственно, будет приятнее. А если раздушить теплопакет и накинуть частот через пбо, то стабильность, возможно, ещё подрастет. У меня 7700 потребляет 100-115 вт в этой игре с бустом под 5.5 и андервольтом -20 по курве.

В этой игре быстрая память решает, не первое видео смотрю про сталкер. Старое поколение процов в сухую проигрывают новым, хотя по тестам производительности там не особо разница. Вот у меня 10900f в cpu-z выдает 7050 баллов но я думаю он проиграет обоим процессорам в играх.

интелам 8, 9, 10 поколений нужна быстрая память 4000+ мгц. тогда они еще на что то пособны. В стоке они могут слиться перед 5000 райзенампи. 7700 весьма хорш но АМ4 все еще выгоднее.
