@@Jermainebolo Yes Sir hopefully this gets back to RZA that we didn't forget his work from almost 25 years ago. Lamar is great but people are acting like this song wasn't copied. RZA gave us the game decades ago. Respect the OG'S.
@chrisman34312 жыл бұрын
@@justinwarner1183 It's not a copy. He was obviously influenced by The RZA's Domestic violence and Eminem's Kim. But he put his own spin on it. And toxic relationships is something that will always be relevant unfortunatly

I can hear the inspiration for Kendrick Lamar's "We Cry Together" but it's different cause this song was one sided and only came from the perspective of the guy and not the girl. Kendrick's version was back and forth and pointed out the toxicity of both. RZA song is dope in its own way but Kendrick's hit harder cause of the back n forth.
@dechefmane35262 жыл бұрын
Both relationships are toxic either way
@will_see2 жыл бұрын
I guess you ain't really listening to this song.."you ain't shit, your brother ain't shit...." and RZA responds.... Kendricks idea is far from original, it's the same song as 'Domestic violence', it's just aimed for a new generation. The whole back and forth thing has been done before, way way back to 'Positive k - I got a man'. Apathy has done back forth song featuring Eternia called 'da bichez'. Just because Kendrick is the first 'good music' you heard, doesn't mean other 'good music' didn't exist before it. Respect the past. Get over yourself. Kendricks new album is hot turds.
@CrisisTheFuture2 жыл бұрын
@@will_see Umm dude, nobody said Kendricks song was original. I only pointed out that Kendrick's song had him and a girl going back and forth which this particular song (that everyone compared it to) did not. Didn't say nobody else has done this, you just went on a whole rant for what exactly? I loved RZA's song and gave credit where due. Sounds like you are looking for an argument where there is none. If you think the song wasn't all that then good for you but I still liked it. *shrugs* ✌🏾
