1:45- in addition to dodging bump gadgets, this is a bit more situational, but if you can/if you are not able to back up in time, try to position yourself so you get bumped into a wall. this allows you to begin attacking again much quicker, and reduces the bump distance:D

Thanks so much RZM. I really appreciate this tutorial on Mortis. Yes i do always loose with him due to the counters and bad matchups. But i don't give up. Sometimes i loose a hundred trophies. Like for example: 850 down to 690. But i still choose to thrive with him. As he is one of my most favourite brawlers in the game. But this tutorial made me understand him very well. I appreciate.

You could also do gamemode changing. Sometimes the brawl ball map will be packed with every game counters. So you want to find gamemode with semi long range or straight long range in a way that is playable. You have less of a chance to get countered and therefor you can get easier wins. This might be different at higher trophies tho so idk. The highest ive gone with mortis is 640 or something. Hope this helped

I definitely over stay or commit to the kill when I need to back off and find a better angle or make them waste their ammo first, I've been getting good at dodging with the dash but I don't run away enough when my own ammo is slowly recharging, I like your videos, they are very well made and show better ways to play and help remind me it's okay to lose a battle to win the war
