RZR ProXP Rock Crawling - Plan B at Sand Hollow Utah!

We didn't build the ProXP, aka Dwayne, to be a garage queen. We build it to run it. In this video, we put Dwayne through the paces on its first full rock trail at Sand Hollow Utah hitting Plan B. Honestly on this obstacle so many go upside down really fast. So as soon as I made it 75% up I was not going to be one of those, it was time to just drive it out. Roxxzillas would have made all the difference on this one. -Garrett

great video as always guys. y'all built a wicked machine there. what i'm wondering is this, if you guys are taking the new 4 seater and the krx out to crawl all day, which one are you each picking if you have first pick? and why? thanks guys keep up the good work

Either machine is great in the rocks. The Pro being a four seater / wider allows you to choose different lines. The KRX it’s different being the two seater. Honestly the Pro is a beast with this setup but the KRX is a fraction of the cost new and crawls just as good if not a little better with the clutch engagement. For me I’ll pick either one because they’re awesome in the rocks. Now getting to the rock trails we all probably would pick the Pro because it hauls and handles amazing at high speeds. Anyways just my opinion and I’m sure the other guys will chime in. -Garrett

@@DerangedOffRoad thanks. Here in East Tennessee there’s not much around me to allow for high speed or at least that I know of anyway. These muddy, rock filled mountain trails are perfect for the krx but I’d like to get a long travel kit for the added width for sure. I feel a little tall and tippy on off camber stuff sometimes.

How does the upgraded gear reduction compare with the stock KRX gearing?

It’s does extremely well compared with the KRX, but the KRX has unmatched clutch engagement that puts it above. The gearing itself on the Pro feel just as good as the KRX now. -Garrett

What do you guys use for a drone? Does it have a "Follow me" function or do one of you have to operate it at all times?

All the drone footage in this video was shot with a skydio 2. It has automatic tracking features that do really well. It tracks a beacon we have in the sxs via gps and visual tracking

My question is the KRX or the XP Pro better stock for all around use? And after dumping the same amount of money into each machine would there be a clear winner?

For the money I would say the KRX is awesome stock for stock. After putting in all the money it’s a toss up unless you need a four seater. -Garrett

How reliable is a stock pro xp over the long term really, I see so many issues and some major just after warranty? Oh are the any good on trails in stock form?

For one you hardly hear from those that don’t have any issues only those that do. Overall I believe they’re good machines and will hold up if taken care of. In stock form they handle and ride really well on all terrains. -Garrett
