I’m a big fan of Victaton’s series and as someone who went through really similar experiences, Blue Story became my comfort series, since it helped to realize how some stuff that happened to me were wrong and made me feel understood. For me it’s fine if it encourages and inspires actual victims to make animations about their trauma, but it upsets me when some people just use this topic on their videos as a way to get more views, it’s so morally wrong if your intentions aren’t to actually spread awareness or simply venting about your own trauma, it’s just wrong and disrespectful for actual victims of s/a.

Idk about Wide Doggy either. Right now I'm iffy about their series, especially since they used the Rabbit Hole trend to start off their series. I feel like Willow (the main girl, victim of S/A) is slightly oversexualized in the videos. Victation does a good job of not oversexualizing any of the characters in his series, neither the victim nor the abusers are shown in a way, and whenever a scene gets sexual, it's more so a tension between the characters in the scene rather than something purely sexual. I'm hoping Wide Doggy can do this too. Edit: My main problem just comes from the Rabbit Hole video. Her Hypnotic Data video is better. I also didn't like how her Rabbit Hole video does the "again" thing where the video plays 2 times in the same video. It's usually done to extend watch time which gives the video more views. Edit 2: Wide Doggy is doing better with her series and is learning from her mistakes. 👍👍👍

Yeah… at the beginning I didn’t really cared that much about Wide Doggy’s series and they didn’t really seem that bad, until she posted a video where 5 y/o Willow gets pregnant by her father… Wide Doggy has stated that this was based on something that happened in REAL LIFE with a little girl around that age. It just seemed a bit problematic to me how she took a real life case as inspiration for her series or whatever… it didn’t feel right to me. The video is deleted now, but apparently just because the dialogue was hard to read and Wide Doggy is fixing that. And in general, I’m not really sure about the way she’s handling the S/A topic… it kinda feels off and she could improve.

Often times, people tend to make things like these to represent people who went through these experiences but end up misrepresenting them instead.

I personally like blue’s story as it is well made imo and also the story is very awareness spreading but at the same time I agree with this video. Most of the people in the gacha community are children/minors and these videos are always completely clear,you have to pay very close attention to the blink and you miss it details to get the point. "let the adults deal with it" is a mindset i cant tell where it was pulled from but its very toxic - children can go through SA too and should have outlets to talk about and cope with these events just like adults should. some people might use vents like this as an outlet because its a creative way to express their feelings. im not mad, some people might not be very educated with this topic, but everyone copes differently. some cry, some try to laugh about their trauma (humor), and others use creative exercises (writing, art, music). all of these are perfectly fine

@@madison-iw9ss hi, im back. the thing is that the creator of the series didnt even mean for it to become a trend - the internet just did what the internet does and MADE it a trend because all THEY saw was 'hot gacha character'. not everyone has the privilege to protest, in some countries you can literally get arrested for peacefully protesting. saying that it's their fault and that they're stupid for trying to express their feelings artistically instead of verbally when they might not have that skill or even that right of verbal communication is insanely wrong and very victim-blamey. yes, i agree that SA should be taken seriously, but like i said. There is a creator I used to collab with and we made two characters in an unhealthy relationship where one was abusive to the other. Since I no longer wished to associate with her I asked for any videos of my character on her channel to be removed. She made an "Aishte" meme of the two characters and it was making fun of the toxic relationship. She won't remove the video. She made this video without consulting me.

I know right?! My least favorite type of video / short is the “pastor pastor please” trend. Why the heck is it a trend now? I understand people want a safe space to share their terrible stories but… Can it just not be a trend? Thankfully it’s dying out but I still don’t like it! For those who don’t understand: Gacha Heat is made by people who think what they are putting in the videos is ok. What Vic and widedoggy are doing is spreading awareness and educating people. In a nutshell Gacha heat is made to make (weird) people say “nice I like this” and Vic and widedoggy’s storys are made to make people say “I can’t believe that people experience this, I feel bad for them” also they are not trying to make a trend or get views. It’s purely for awareness.

I have no bother with people, showing how they feel from the past or how they show the characters feelings, and how other people feel it might not be the best to say, but I don’t think this is a trend. This is basically showing on how the characters feel like. I’m thinking about starting this series, but I’m gonna put a warning and say that this is not a trend it’s a dog being harassed by humans, I’m going to show that animals have emotions People think that they don’t even though they care much much more about survival like my hamster that doesn’t mean they will not feel uncomfortable, but I don’t think this is used as a trend. Just use it carefully.

Widedoggy was told why she wasn’t spreading awareness and to at least age restrict the videos , but ignored it , and continues posting content like it , and isn’t paying attention to the fact she influenced 10 kids to take pictures of their bodies and send it to people , there will be a rant on this later , but widedoggy isn’t innocent , so stop saying she is if you haven’t dug deeper into her drama or the outcome of that post she was TOLD TO age restrict .

It’s not a bad thing if you don’t do it for clout, victaton and wide doggy are NOT doing it for clout or anything. It is to spread awareness, + the viewer is warned before the video so if they’re not comfortable with this. They’re not “doing SA”, they’re simply spreading awareness on this topic since it’s not very known. Victaton has a different purpose for their awareness tho They’re spreading awareness on the fact that SA is not just in women, but in men aswell. While it’s rarer, men can still get SAed and to this day most of them don’t get believed or get brushed off. While wide doggy, is just spreading awareness on SA in general. Theyre not doing something bad. They’re spreading awareness.

Well, they both ripped of Geckogaming content anyway, and plagirism is illegal. I feel bad for gecko. Everyone is stealing his ideas, just because he can't make them stop. He'd tell them off, but oh wait, he can't, cuz he's FUCKING DEAD! ONE OF THE GREATEST MINDS OF OUR TIME FUCKING DIES, AND NOW PEOPLE WANT TO RIP HIM OFF! He's looking down from heaven, and has to see all his hate. And not only did they rip him off, but they both released videos about him, telling him what he did was wrong, even though he did the exact same things they did. His girlfriend made KZbin shut the videos down, for making fun of him. When i heard he died, i was fucking devastated. He was so damn young. Poor guy didn't deserve it. He took a bullet to the heart for his cause, and survived several stab wounds, only to flatline three days later. I fucking hate society.
