I honestly was not sure how you'd portray Alina's point of view while also answering the question "Who am I?" as posed in the title - the competing directions people are pulling her, the comments that she hears. The ones she doesn't. The fear of the future, the longing for the past, the desperation to hold onto the present. I love this so much.
