I remember being in highschool when this was being shown. I feel so old--when Maurice first came on GH, I was in 6th grade. He came on the year after Vanessa came on. The writing was definitely good back then.

and i love the background music with the sonny and carly that deep bass tone like something tragic is gonna happen and it does lol this is sonny showing and being advocate...for mental health and symptoms, recovery,victorious over it and i am so proud of maurice/sonny for all he has done and has gone through through his scenes and the victories of it

But as you see in the scene he uses his past, to excuse his own deplorable behavior. Yes, his father abandoned him. But he is a career criminal that seems to act as if he owes nobody any apologies for all of his crimes. It’s kind of pathetic.

Lol if I was Carly I would have stayed up stairs. But Mike shouldn't have said and done none of that because yeah Sonny did those things, which is wrong, but why? Because he was used by you and beat up by a stepdad who shouldn't have never been in his life if not for you. I mean Mike just not in any position to start talking like that, especially since Mike never really repented he just doing the same crap to Sonny no less.
