S&C pt. 87: Island recovery pt. 2

Sonny and Carly continue their talk- one of my favs. Carly flips when she finds out AJ didn't call the cops- she slaps Sonny when he tries to calm her down. Powerful scenes. Sonny tries to explain to her how he feels when he goes into that 'dark place'.

When he told her to not go near him, he was protecting her, not himself. He wasn't afraid of her, he was afraid _for_ her. At that moment, the abuse he went through as a child was going through his head, so at that moment, he was afraid he'll transfer that anger onto her. Brilliant writing and acting!

The lines during these scenes are phenomonal! I love how GH was touching on Sonny's bipolor years before they actually had Sonny's character diagnosed with the illness. I have long admired Maurice for talking openly and honestly about his own struggles with mental illness. He seems like a brave, kind and intelligent human being.

I agree.SB is the best Carly because she was the 1st!! I started watching when TB was Carly and I love her,but no one can compare to SB.I like LW also but the writers have now completely destroyed Carly.(I like the old Carly who hated Jax)lol And I do not count Jennifer Bransford(3rd one) as Carly.It was just like...no. My Carly ranking goes in the order as in which they came(excluding 3rd one) 1-SB 2-TB 3-LW Just my opinion though.

you MUST be new, but no my friend. sarah brown was, is, and will ALWAYS be the best carly. she got the accolades, the acclaim, the IMMENSE fan following. so much so, that not only were tptb begging to keep her, but when they realized they couldn't, they tried to find someone who looked as much like her as possible. even telling tb that she HAD to dye her hair blonde, etc. it would be 3 years after settling in the role of carly that tams was allowed to dye her hair back 2 its original color.

i aint that new not sayin that LW is an better actor than Sarah Joy Brown but at the same time no1 can top LW sorry,Period! n yes about tb i knew about that i read alot about that a while bk but i love LW n i believe that she is the best Carly now if it was back n the day when Sarah was playing Carly or tamara then they would be the best Carly but their not cause this is the future now n till then no1 can top LW maybe some1 that plays as a role of Carly again but im saying they all good

Oh Phxsuns6281 get a grip on ur self. A lot of TB scences were mediocre. She could have never put the feeling and emotins in to any of the scences that SB portrayed. U just don't want to admit it. I hope u don't see this page again. Only a blind person would make a statement like that and think it would fly.

I know this was 14 years ago, and you are probably over it, but--I am so sorry people were being mean to you. Personally, I love TB. She was my favorite Carly, but that is my opinion. We all get to have one, including you. I also love Laura Wright, and believe she has done a terrific job as Carly, and hope she stays as her.
