Technisch voll ausgereift das Gerät. Deshalb greifen die Angestellten auch immer wieder mit den Händen rein...hoffe die leben noch alle!

Old timers know what it means to work and like to keep busy, I was worried about the other guy sticking his arm in to guide the block down as that chainsaw blade was coming down.

Can it cut the next part IN PARALLEL with the bottom pusher? So, one log will be pushed and split, the next log will be cut. You will double speed of your work.

Hallo! Finde Euren Sägespalter echt super! Kann man sich den mal ansehen? Komme aus dem Münsterland. Wo kommen Sie her? Was hat der Eigenbau ungefähr gekostet? Elmar

That dude on the right needs to keep his meat-beaters out of the friggin' machinery. Jeez Louise, mister -- the firewood has only one place to go -- and that's out. You don't have to help it along. Why don't you go make some coffee or something.

What does this guy on the right actually do? trying to get his hands torn off? Or is it the machine which fails to dump all parts on the belt? Then he should go to the tool shop to weld some metal sheets as guide and mount them while the machine is not in full operation.

A lot of these comments are spot on. Most people get wise to the fact that you don't put your hands into a dangerous place unless they absolutely have to be there. When the kids first get hired it's the job of us oldsters to tell them the "Dick Rule." Don't put your hands anywhere you wouldn't put your dick. What's really shocking is that these guys are OLD. They still haven't learned. You'd think a few decades of bashing their fingers and getting ugly slices would have schooled them.

This guys are old, worked their whole live with heavy machinery and still have both hands and all of their fingers. So what does that mean? It means they have done it right for decades. Also they have builded themself a greate piece of machinery. Most of the people commenting here are not even able to hitting a nail into the wall and never have splitted a log. So stop moaning.

London Averill Complacency Kills! Those who say "I'm an expert, nothing will happen to me" are usually the first to have an accident. Don't look at someone's age and judge their accident-proof-ness... Older people may have slower reaction times as well and be unable to get away when they need to...
