I just ordered the SH Figuarts version just because the Figma one in 2022 is like $200 which is ridiculous (in my opinion). But I’m so obsessed with this video comparison and with the Figma version skirt 😭 I want her because of that cool touch they added where it separates 😭 😭 😭 you’re so luck to have both

No, actually both represent her anine counterpart, Sakura's hair it's more blond-ish in the manga as opposed to the anime where's it's brown.

I just got the s.h figuarts one after watching ur review. I like it better bc she looks more like Sakura and looks cuter and more adorable in my opinion. It really captures how cute and adorable Sakura is. I feel like the figma version makes Sakura look older idk.. They're both really good though!

I'm glad I was able to be some help! I really had a hard time picking out one so I decided to get both of them. I agree with you though, I like how s.h. figuarts created her face sculpt. She looks more like how we saw her in the anime.

Awesome comparison, thank you! The SH figuarts version definitely has a nicer face, but I can't resist all the extras that come with the figma, and I love the detailed sculpting on her dress. Thanks for helping me choose between them, definitely going for the figma.

I'm relieved to see they're so close in size.... that means, even though I have the Figuarts version, when Figma's Syaoran comes out I'll be able to get him and they'll look fine together.

Thank you very much for this in depth review on both versions. Even though I grew up with the anime I still opted for the figma manga version (Yet, I miss the twin tails on her hair that were non existent in the Manga or only shown in some instances I'm not really sure,) anyway, despite being a bit on the pricey side the attention to details, accessories and of course excellent quality control that the brand is known for is worth every penny. figma also released her uniform version and Tomoyo Daidouji which is a very good motivation to complete the set. Equally interesting thing that were never mentioned about the CCS line under GoodSmile company (Nendoroid) which is the official distributor of Maxfactory (figma) are the bonus items which came with their CCS figures during pre ordering on the GSC Online shop. The Nendoroid Sakura had the Clow sealing wand in key form, the figma Sakura 1st release had the star wand in key form, and the Uniform version had the Clow book which is an awesome set to have for any CCS fan. I'm also a display box enthusiast and I'm very impressed with SHF's display box over the figma by a landslide, the figure is nice but I already mentioned my preferences above.

I've watched all the anime episodes including the movies so that is why I am more inclined towards purchasing SH figuarts since I really like her face sculpt on that version, though I really like all the inclusions provided by Figma. That is why I ended up getting both of them. ^_^

I've had the Figma version of Sakura for quite a while now, and I love her. Seeing the Figuarts version on Amazon for only ~$30 was too good to pass up, so now I have both. I like the skirt ruffles on the Figma better though, the Figuarts ruffles seem to just droop underneath the skirt.

I really like the way you described both the figures and even though i bought the figma ver, its true it has more items,more body movement than the SH figuart...but the differences are when attaching the pairs(like the wings to her back and the wand)from Figma. So agre with you it was a troublesome and MUST be extra careful....But unlike SH figuart...attaching the pairs are easiler. Still both of them has their unique ways and style....most important is both of them still shows Sakura's apperances. Great job on previewing them!!!

Nina Jasmin Martinez Aguiatan I couldn't agree more. You made the right choice for choosing Figma since you get the bang for your buck because of all the accessories included in it. Especially for a fan of this anime and manga series, you wanted to get whatever inclusions necessary to recreate scenes in the anime. The nostalgia factor is really why collectors bought the figures, so you wanted to get the most from what you purchased. I just found it hard to resist not to get the SH Figuarts version since I really like the face mold on it. ^_^

Oh man! First thing i did with my figma version was the wings... it was such a pain to do it that i told myself i'm not going to remove them anymore

+shaoronmd Well thats true...especially attaching the big wings to the staff or at the back of Sakura. So its best not to always open it when your room is small like mines. So I only open it not to display but just a references for drawing instead.

figuarts ver has a cute face, but it looks shiny. problem I always have with bandai figures T_T I'd get sh figuarts if I just like cardcaptor sakura, but since I already started getting figmas, it's hard to pass up figma over another figure. figma already has over 250 figures in it's line. and parts are interchangeable with other figmas so it's fun to have more figmas.

+wabla blergh I really don't mind the sheen feature since it is not that obvious but it might be for some collectors like you, so that's really a preference issue, I guess. You are right though about how fun it is to interchange some parts from other figma figures since they have been out in the market a little longer than figuarts, though I know figuarts are not so behind either. It's just hard to keep track since they don't number their figures like figma does.

As long as you see the logos and stickers right and it matches correctly with what you see in my box, then that is not a bootleg. I bought mine from Amazon too since it is cheaper there. =)

When i first saw the preview for both, i told myself i'm gonna get the figma version...But then the figma took so long to come out so i ended up also getting the shf version...I regret nothing, thou i still prefer the figma version over the shf. Just my 2 cents

There's really nothing to regret, since you got a good figure, I really like my shf too, figma just has more accessories to go along with their version.

Im more towrds the figma everything was on point, the small wings on the anime doesnt move, so its kinda pointtless to make it moveable, the shf just lazy jusy super lazyon the figure they make the box great but the figure was lacking, and to be honest the shf face imho doesnt look 100% accurate with the anime, and shf joint was really annoying mine always poped on the shoulder and her head always falls out, so figma wins for me hha, but thanks you for the slightly bias review

+yokha yokha You have a point there, I think I have mentioned about that in the review that my judgement on the figure of SHF maybe bias since I really like its facial detail, though I am gearing more on approving the overall presentation delivered by Figma as their inclusion of important accessories are on point. When I was purchasing it, I actually bought Figma first since it has all the things I want in the figure. As for the joints, I would probably argue on its loose joint as it maybe quality control since mine has been doing great so far. I have other SH Figuarts action figures and their joints are pretty much the same as the joint movements of my other Figma figures. Well, to each their own.

+yokha yokha I forgot to mention as well, regarding the small wings you have mentioned that don't move, well, they don't move like the big wings of the fly card attached on Sakura's back, but they flutter as seen in the opening of the first season of the anime. So having articulated wings are still a good point SHF included. Now if wing movements are the point of argument, then Figma should have made their wings articulated as it will give it more anime accuracy since Sakura was seen many times using it. Anyway, the point of the video review is to just really show differences between the two figures and I don't expect everybody to agree with my stand point. I love collecting figures as much as other people do, and it is the individual's judgement what they like better or not. I think you have made it clear that you like Figma over SHF and I respect that. Mine maybe a little hard to determine since I love both figures but just like what I said earlier, to each their own.

How do you change the faces on the figma version? I have one and can't find the info on the web anywhere. Im concerned I will break it.

+Inthebelly Ofthebeast You just have to pull out the bangs first, then followed by the face. It is usually tough at first since the item is new and the paint is still probably a little sticky making it tougher to pull it out, but you won't break it as long as you pull it forward and a little side to side while pulling it towards you to release it. Hopefully this helps you out.
