I can't believe this is a 35$ figure. He is far and away the best looking Frieza figure...ever? Gorgeous paintwork, alternate heads, crossed arms, a dragon ball, this is a more complete release than a lot of their 65$ figures. Can't wait to pick this guy up.

Love my Ressurection F version enough to make this an easy pass for my collection, but I have a friend who’s a proper Dragon Ball fan (as opposed to just being in it for the toys like me) who doesn’t have a Frieza, so glad to know this is a great release cause it’ll probably be a gift for him later this year. This figure demolished the resurrection frieza for me and was an instant easily justifyable swap, especially as someone who doesn't value effect pieces. Comparing the matte paint, it may not be general frieza white but its what I, and many many people, imagine him colored as. Equally the slight shading to it is masterfully done, his purple is far more consistent an has a metallic pop that the previous one did not, and for which is consistent across the whole of the figure, giving justification to the previously odd dark purple shoulder joints. The action lines on his forehead made one of the biggest differences though as it elevates the sculpt beyond merely frieza to an accurate representation, and is only surpassed by the excellent fixes done to his eyes, which were previously poorly done, extremely stretched and pointy with thinner line work, seemingly trying to imitate the length of the brow ridge rather amateurishly.

I think they'll end up doing more characters then what can just fill out the Dragon Balls. There's still too many characters for that arc they gotta do lol. Same thing with original Dragon Ball. Im surprised they aren't doing black star balls for the GT characters

For question of the day. Yea every form for everyone. Especially Frieza. Got 1st, 4th, and Golden. Need 2nd and 3rd and definitely Cybernetic Frieza. Same with Cell and Buu. We've gotten all forms for the Saiyans pretty much. Lets see some more love for the Villains

I missed out on both of the previous releases of this guy. Found this at target. Yeah I'm late to getting this figure...but I truly like this figure. Yeah it doesn't include effect parts and the rock. But for $35 for this, that's a steal!

Honestly with the recession and so many action figure brands/lines that it’s difficult to even try to attempt to keep up. Even before the recession I always stuck primarily with the main characters. Although I did get this one only because it was on the cheap.

can anyone help me how to loosen the pegs in the bicep because mine are very tight and make crackly noises every time i move it and i have to put a bit of force to move it. should i add something like coconut oil to loosen it up?

Silicone shock oil is your best friend for that bro! Or let sit in some hot water for a while to loosen up the joints.. silicone oil will solve the problem tho!

Regarding the question of the day, yeah I guess I want everyone too. Just cause I love seeing my collection growing, I know you collect a bunch of stuff, but I only really collect dragon ball figures. And some other figures but only if they look really cool. So I want to see in like 20 years my now vintage dragon ball collection, and feel the same thing that people who grew with and now have a bunch of super battle collection figures feel like.

I don't know if its the lighting but his purple areas shouldnt be blueish purple, the previous figures are actually closer to the correct colour if a little dark, they should be magenta in colour.

Man a second form Frieza would be legendary. The only downside with this new release is they missed the opportunity to make the neutral expression head without the hole on top and trade out the halo for a rock or effect part.

The right arm on my figure has a gap in the bicep swivel. Is there a way to fix it? EDIT: and the purple on the left arm was chipped

I have the exact same problem with the right arm having a gap in the bicep swivel. It really bothers me! I ultimately decided to just pose him with the crossed arms because it helps to hide the gap, that is the best I could do.

I like the colors, but the torso bugs me. Feel like as compared to the width of his neck, his chest seems a little smaller than it should be. I also don't like that the purple bit looks disconnected from the rest of his torso. I get why they did it, but I can't unsee it.

People have different priorities when it comes to articulation. For me proper thigh swivels are important so I actually prefer the Dragon Stars release, which loses out mainly in neck and body articulations. Wish there was just a Frieza with everything in one package.
