I could see how people may feel that Hit and his "power" is a cheap plot device, however, I myself actually find it pretty refreshing. Rather than Goku being met with yet another opponent who has a higher power level than him, he's met with an opponent whose technique is far superior to any other technique Goku has gone up against. Rather than Goku having to reach a new form to beat his opponent, he actually has to tap deeper into his Fighting Brain in order to compete with Hit. And that's pretty refreshing considering most of Goku's fights normally have the same cycle. With Hit's unique technique, interesting design, and decent backstory of being Universe 6's Best Assassin, I really really dig his character 👍👍 Great review as per usual, Anthony! Ok, but that was the initial idea until Hit decides to counter Goku by simply increasing his ability, to which Goku counters by increasing his strength, to which Hit counters by increasing his ability etc. the Manga handled it much better by omitting that trash but the anime writers had absolutely no idea what they were doing.

I love Hit as a character, he has a lot of unique things going for him. He's a polite guy who also kills for money, he's 1000 years old, and he fights with technique rather than screaming and power levels (in fact he mocks Goku for screaming and powering up lol) His time-skip is cool and leads to one of my favorite fights in the series, where Goku actually has to adapt and use his prowess as a martial artist, which is refreshing after Z was all power levels all the time. His fight with Dyspo was similarly great. For the figure, I think it's excellent, though he feels like he's been shrunk 10%. His musculature looks fantastic but it seems extra slim for a dragon ball figure, and it makes his head seem small. The skirt is a little annoying but once you find a pose you want, you can make it work well enough.

I loved Hit from the mystery of his character, the repurposing of Guldo's Time stop to actually be a formidable foe, and unique interesting design. Asides from Beerus he's my favourite new addition to DB super.

I don't like the lean proportions, but I have been told that is how he looks in the manga. I like the Dragon Star figure's proportions. I don't mind a lack of shading when the sculpting is sharp, with deep cuts. That really captures the shadows and brings out the details. Hit was a promising character when he debuted. He seems cool, calm and collected, but after getting jobbed out to Jiren the mystic was gone. Also in the manga it isn't a trench coat. It really is a weighted skirt. He pulls it off like you did in the review, and he can move faster.

I’m going to be 100% honest, Hit is my favorite character from Dragon Ball Super. When I first saw him in the anime I was immediately intrigued by his appearance, his fighting skills, his time skip, his personality, everything. He is such a badass for being the Legendary Assassin of Universe 6, his behavior is so cool, and the way that he can fight is very interesting. I can honestly go on about how much I love Hit in Super because to me he is such a good character, he may not be to other people but he is to me. When I got this figure I was so excited and overall I think it’s pretty decent. However, I cannot get over how his pants aren’t the same color and instead gave him a purple gray speedo. Please, make the pants the same color next time.

I need someone to prove to me that this figure of Hit is a bit too skinny. Some people says he's the perfect size, while others say he should be bulkier. Not Jiren bulky of course, but more muscular that Goku by comparison. I find Hit can look both ways in Super, but I still think he should be bigger than he is here.

Also the floating belt hides the trench coat pieces nicely when it’s posed and moved around a bit! I think the pieces as well are pretty hit and miss with qc bc some ppl have a ton of problems and some ppl have no issues with them coming off

For the skirt They could have used the design they used on the sentai(don't remember the exact name) that you reviewed a while back, there they used the balt as a port of sort for an open flexible one that was split in the sides. Im sure that design could have been tooled and moded for this release.

Felt really disappointed by this piece ngl. The articulation is all there and the accessories aren't lacking. But I feel the design and overall functionality of the figure doesn't justify a Premium exclusive. The shading is pretty miniscule and overall the figure felt cheap in hand the way it attracted oils off of my hand. I felt as if the skirt piece could have been done better as well... I don't really see the need for Bandai to include two different pairs of skirts that poorly fit together when a single slit at the top of the pocket would've worked fine with the material they were using. Idk. This figure just didn't make the mark for me and left me fairly disappointed. I think I'm biased as well because I'm not deep into super outside of DBS Broly. Anyways, that's my hot take. Feel free to disagree and tell me why you love this figure. Maybe you could change my mind :)

I dislike the skirt a lot. Just kills any sense of dynamism by just hanging there in such a flat manner. Not sure why, but Zamasu's didn't give me the same feeling at all. I'm hoping someone makes a more interesting custom skirt for him (they did it for Broly and Majin Buu, if not more, so there's a good chance it'll happen eventually).

I received my figure today, so this figure is really slim, the head is 'mini' and it not tall at all. In the manga, Hit suppose to has similar height as Super Boo, but Super Boo figure is much much larger than Hit. All in all, I am little bit disappointed :(

First to comment So Hit is pretty great addition to the DBS cast and what is really unique is that all of his power comes from technique and i think that’s why he (spoilers) can’t take Jiren but can easily handle almost anyone else including Goku!

I love Hit I thought he was the coolest new character introduced in Super. It’s a shame how underutilized he was, but you could say that for Super as a whole. He was a pretty decent dude and a pretty unique take on a hit man let alone in dragon ball. The Goku Black arc probably had the best DBZ like fights, but Hit vs Goku was probably the best fight in all of Super till Jiren came along and the Broly movie. But even then Jiren is such a boring nothing character that’s just really strong.

Articulations/accessory wise the figure seems great, but the guy is quite bulky for a Dragon Ball character and his height juxtaposes this. His design does make him look cheap looking

Question of the day: I mean you can say the exact same thing about Cell and Buu having extremely similar powers to previous villains but what makes Hit stand out from those cases is that he is like Guldo if he wasn't a complete jobber who no one who knows him takes seriously. Like from Frieza to Cell and to Buu all are serious threats who are treated as such narratively, meanwhile Guldo gets bullied by the rest of the Ginyu Force and was intimidated by a pre-saiyan saga Vegeta: a guy who was already surpassed (or matched in Cuis case) by every other prominent minion on Namek, so the story treats him as a lesser threat. So essentially they just took a cool power from an early game gimmick fight and gave it to the final boss of the arc much later.
