Personally I don't mind the way the legs look all that much. Yeah they're definitely segmented and they could've done better but I've been desperate for an ichigo figure FOR SO LONG. i'm happy enough just to have it honestly

Being a really big Bleach fan, I think it’s pretty good and I’m glad to have a figure that can scale with Goku, Naruto, and Luffy, but I think all of your criticisms are pretty valid, especially with the legs. I got mine from Amazon JP shipped with Samurai Sword from Chainsaw Man, so with the yen conversion being pretty low I only paid $53 for it with shipping, but with the US price being closer to $70, it does seem like a hard price to ask considering the other figures you can buy for that price (anything in the Naruto, One Piece or Chainsaw Man lines are that price or less and I think they’re all fantastic)

My favorite forms are Ichigo with the big knife-like sword and his classic Bankai. I actually like this figure a bit more than Luffy but mostly because I took points away from him because I had to untighten the arms and mod the legs, lol. I was able to pose Ichigo straight out the box and that was kind of a plus to me. I'm still afraid of breaking Luffy's arms. I do agree the head articulation is bad and posed in certain ways it looks like his face is fused to the neck. The pants are kinda ugly, too, but it doesn't bother me that much. Hopefully Bandai will change the pants for his other forms if they make them.

Worst legs in action figures history 😂, the system would be good enough for a 15$ toy, but this is absolutely unacceptable for the price range … (hardcore Bleach fan here)… I know the hakama is hard to work on for an action figure without soft goods, but they can do it better (the SHF Jujutsu Kaisen Geto action figure has a Hakama also and a much better solution, so I don’t know what the f*** were they thinking…)

I love that Bandai are going so hard into anime and giving a good mix of classic and modern. I can't collect everything, but I'm mostly happy with what I am getting (Dragon Ball, Chainsaw Man, Naruto and Jujutsu Kaisen), and even the stuff I have more issues with is good with just a few problems (Spy X Family and One Piece).

My favorite look is his 1000 Year Bloodwar Arc after the Royal Guard training. Looks really neat. But I also have a love for the original look with the giant sword.

This is the second version of his Bankai. He gets 3 versions of both Shikai and Bankai. Original Bankai is my favorite, mostly because it had the most page/screen time.

I just got mine in today. I honestly think it's alright but as a hard-core Bleach guy my choices are pretty slim. The character design seems to really hinder Bleach figures, particularly in the legs, and specifically in plastic. As bad as these may look, the Anime Heroes line look even worse. I think this may be one of those things where we have to deal with the limitations of the design VS the medium. That doesn't necessarily bode well for a line with a near-universal aesthetic but unless they switch to soft goods for pants it's gonna be the curve these'll need to be graded on to qualify as "good". That said, once I posed him out I was happy. Not necessarily $70 happy but I do like it.

@@sigerlion8608 Yes! I've got the Captain Ukitake and Hollowfied Bankai Ichigo. They really are the best Bleach figures I've seen and messed with. If they end up going beyond the 6 figures I've seen I'll gladly scoop them up but I kinda feel S.H.F. may be our best chance at more characters. My absolute loyalty to the first line to give me posable figures of Kenpachi and Mayuri.

I feel like like the kinda pants he's wearing, hakama, are just really awkward to render onto an action figure, as by style they are supposed to be billlowing and formless, and it's really weird to try and cut that up and make it fit human anatomy and movement.

Just got mine today and overall I do like it. But the legs are undeniably ugly and the strange head/neck articulation is a little annoying. Looking at the upcoming Renji and Byakuya figures, it seems like the legs will be similarly ugly and I'm not holding my breath that their heads will move any better because those two have long hair. That said, I really dig the faces and swords for this line, I think they look great. They really need some effect parts tho (especially Byakuya)! For the question of the day this is my favorite look for Ichigo but I'd love to see more figures of his other designs because they're all great

Yeah, Figuarts shouldn't have been the one to tackle Bleach figures. I get things like Figma get a lotta flak for pricing and simplicity but Bleach character design just doesn't work for how Figuarts figures are

I'm not sure what they could have done to make the pants joint cut any better with all the folds. The only thing I can think of is, remove the thigh swivel, instead make the knee joints able to swivel. That way, at least the legs would look less cut up into parts.

Favorite design is the one that you have right there. His articulation is definitely better than Luffys, Zoros and about as good as Sanji although his pants are terrible.

Best ichigo look is the current one, his true shikai look. This one in particular is one of my favorites as well, this one is his fullbring bankai look that he has in the fullbring arc and the first part of the thousand year blood war

Huge bleach fan and I think the face is great even with the eyes positioning but everything else just looks cheap! Highly recommend the dasin figs! Was thinking of getting this guy for a longer tensa zangetsu for the dasin bankai fig but I'm not sure anymore...some black and red effects mightve sold me tho...

I bought this figure last week, I got already the Ichigo classic from Bandai Heroes, I have to say, for the price, in compare, this figure it's not good. Why they put only realised form Zangetsu? 2 blade was too much? (I have the 'big" Zan from actionhero ). Also the sculp is not good, I dunno why Tamashi do figures line bad and other super ( Naruto and DB line are awesome, One piece sucks for example, remember Zoro? Luffy g5, Kidd, Law ...sucks) ...I hope the new Ichigo figure will be great

YEEEEAH I definitely like the OG Bankai and Seikai looks yet I bought this an I’m happy with him. Ichigo is one of my favorite characters and I love Bleach more than Naruto and I Likes Naruto enough 🤔. A good figure among my favorites characters

The legs look so much worse than they need to be. While she doesn't have the ugly thigh cut, the upcoming SHF Sagiri from Hell's Paradise seems to have those ugly knee joints too. I'm not sure why (other than maybe slightly higher cost) they don't just use double knee joints to make it less ugly and maybe give more range. Sure, it'll segment the pants more, but you could at least use them without them being ugly. Like, can't you just treat puffy pants like baggy pants?

Honestly most Bleach characters won't look great with those baggy pants, and most will look boring with pretty much similar overall silhouettes anyways. I say just skip to Yoruichi. Maybe Nelliel in her tattered cloths. Stick to scantily clad women, so sculptors don't want to deal with the baggy clothing, which they clearly can't do well.

I'm gonna stick with the Figuarts Zero line for Bleach when it releases. Not every anime needs a SH Figuarts line imo. Tamashii is trying to do SHF for alot of anime when they should just stick with DB and Kamen Rider figs which are their best lines.

The long coat look is basically him being super saiyan. My favorite is definitely his most basic form at the begging. His giant sword has a more traditional scabbard on the back. This with the extra straps around the chest and hands and his sword having the back spikes is his more or less highest form and I'm not crazy about them. This feels about what's expected for Bleach. Being a fan definitely hitched to the wrong wagon. But also the billowy samurai pants really don't lend themselves to action figures either.

I don’t think it’s terrible, but Figuarts doesn’t hit the mark the first time around usually and rarely does it. Honestly just support the other figures, I heard renji is good and byakuya is coming out soon and they’ll most likely improve with time. It’s definitely decent enough for a first time figure, I mean I enjoy it and it looks one to one with the anime.

I know you don't like soft goods. But the ko line of bleach (Dasin) with soft goods is actually pretty good and solid. Bandai should make a mix of plastic and soft goods (bit like buzzmod). It would definitly help those pants. These don't work in plasric in my opinion.
