S.H Figuarts KRILLIN (Klilyn) Dragon Ball Action Figure Review

This was the first S.H. Figuarts figure that I ever bought. (For just $20 too!) And i love it, the posability is amazing on it. The fact that he can easily balance on one foot is something I've never seen for a figure. But the one downside... now I have to buy more Dragon Ball s.h.figuarts characters. Nice review. I've watched quite a few of your reviews, but realized today that I wasn't subscribed... but I am now. 👍

Best reviewer. Period. Before I buy ANYTHING, I check your opinion on it. And scale doesn't bother me too much, especially with Dragon Ball. Nostalgia is a powerful drug. And you can usually hardly notice scale is off if your figures are in action poses. Also, toy companies really should consult you, or at the very least watch your videos and steal your ideas 😂 Thanks for making these great reviews. Please never stop 👌

The only scaling for this line that really bothers me is Cell. Cell should be so much taller than what the figure is. If you look at the image of Cell squaring up to Ultra Super Saiyan Trunks, he is so much taller. Only other one of any note is Vegeta should be a little shorter but I can look past that because it isn’t so terrible, and I have him in fighting stances anyways.

Hi Anthony have you heard about the Dasin one punch man figures (genos and saitama) ? If so would you consider reviewing those because I'd like to see your opinion on them ? And about the scaling I think it's decent I saw that the Saiyan raised on earth Goku is 5.7 inches which is accurate to his anime height because he is 5'7 or so I heard so I like it

The DB line works well in isolation. The dbz/s line works well aside form a few outliers (nappa, cell, gotenks etc). However when both are put together it's completely off. Roshi is passable and bulma fits alright but the two kids are waaay off. Goku and Krillin should definitely be smaller. The argument that "it's not possible" doesn't make sense when we have the shodo figures which are like 2 inches and packed with articulation and detail.

I think a part of the scaling issues also has to do with the dragon balls animation being quite inconsistent. Vegeta's always changing heights. Gotenks is almost half the age of kid goku but looks twice as old and tall. The style at the start of db and start z is really different, making it hard for the db figuarts to match up with the Z line. We're never going to get a perfect scale between db and z but what figuarts have done is really dissapointing, could be a lot better.

The scale does bother me a lot. It's not a big problem in the Z line, even tho I wish Vegeta was shorter, Nappa was bigger and Perfect Cell looked less anorexic. But I can't stand it in the original DB line, it's too wild. Roshi, Kid Goku and Kid Krillin are all in scale nicely with each other, but are WAY too big compared to Bulma. They could've at least give us a bigger Bulma, so that the DB line would've been consistent -_-

@ChofoRuiz The Figur-rise Perfect Cell is also a good replacement, he's taller and buffer than Figuarts' and if you add shading and a matte finish he looks very good near the figuarts figures. His face is a bit too round tho. Figure-rise is also doing a model kit that includes a Teen Bulma, if she's bigger we are saved xD

To me I didn't I don't care about the scaling because when I five my activated on this play I'm just a kid by why I don't really care how I told him I have a ton of dragon stars most of them in Vegas stars and I have one Essex figure out which is the crillon I do like him he's my favorite character

Heyy! Going back nd forth on this Review nd the DRAGON BALL Klilin trying to see the Head Pegs in comparison before I buy a Dragon Ball Klilin. Strongly Contemplating, 1. Remove the BIG BallPeg/THING from DBZ Krillin 2. Place the BIG BallPeg/THING on the DB Klilin 3. Swap Heads to have a SAIAYAN SAGA KRILLIN! If it was a Success for you, Let me know! CrazyIrishmen7 I guess they can but the two lines are competitors though in same company. Also the nature of the two lines are different. Model kits can make complicate designs that work well but the figure line needs something simpler for the factory workers to assemble quickly.

This isn't accurate. They aren't in competition... At all. The designs are more complicated either. If anything, they're simpler.

AnthonysCustoms the model kits shoulder butterfly joint got put together from separate shells. But the figures have to be peg in from the outside the simpler design. They model kit line and figure line keep out doing each other now you get effect parts with figures and that's good.

It's not simpler to make it the way they make most figuarts. Model kits are made to be assembled by the end user... They have to be a simple design. Now take that simple design and develop it for an action figure... Even more simple. I've designed a figure or two. I know exactly what I'm talking about. Not everything needs to be argued about.
