When Vegeta and Nappa first appeared, they both had the wrong color armor, but Vegeta's was later fixed (from the green and orange) in Kai, but Nappa stood the same until later on when he gets the yellow and blue armor. However they did this just to get money out of us by making his anime color scheme an SDCC. You can bet on it

Bought this figure last weekend and I’m loving it!!!! Gonna buy another! Saw the SSJ3 goku and wasn’t impressed with the goku figure so went with nappa

3 to 4 years too late but the height is just fine.. I know it sounds weird but if we look at Nappa and Vegeta's height, Nappa stands at 6' 10" while Vegeta stands at 5' 5". In 1/12th scale, Nappa is supposed to be 6.84 inches while Vegeta is 5.42 inches which are very close to their action figure height.. The anime, just like others, had weird proportions and the height is inconsistent so I see where you're coming from..

KingsSpaghetti Figuarts is definitely going to release Nappa in his blue and yellow color scheme. They're going to want to make as much money as they can out of this new mold. Sure we will see it as a 2018 SDCC exclusive or maybe to a lesser extent a premium color edition, but my money is on it being an SDCC exclusive. I'm probably going to wait on that till I pick this guy up

KingsSpaghetti A regular release of Nappa in his blue and yellow armor would be preferable so I don't have to pay a premium for an SDCC version. Though as of right now looking at previous and future releases I don't see what they could do for next year's SDCC. Only other figure I could see them doing is an Anime accurate Krillin, which I wouldn't mind either since I missed him the 1st time around.

Nappa's height according to the DBZ wiki is 6f.10in. On a 1/12 scale, 7ft is represented as 7 inches- so the Nappa figure being around 7 inches actually makes him the right height-if-not-too tall.

Vegeta in recent artwork is designed to be taller. There are some modern versions of the Vegeta/Nappa duo that shows Vegeta a bit taller. Chances are Vegeta's height was retconned because he's also taller in Super.

I'm gona take a wild guess and say they'll release a "special color version" later on, with the classic anime colors. Not that I'm unhappy with this scheme - I always liked it better, and I have the orange and green Vegeta, so they'll match. Anyway, overall, I'm glad he turned out well! Nothing to make me regret my preorder, though the shoulders are confusing, considering how they're hidden by the armor. Not terrible, but sometimes I don't understand their articulation decisions.
